I got my power steering hose replaced and the 2008 pontiac montana is whining like it was when there was no fluid in it what do I need to do to bleed the line?

I think you damaged the steering pump by driving it without steering fliud in it. It should purge all the air out of the system after turning the wheels full left then full right a few times....check the fluid again then repeat...if fluid is not foamy after trying this then pump needs rebuild or replace....expensive....go to salvage yard and get a used pump....good luck

Can u easily siphon gas from a 98 montana? We cant

Cars and trucks manufactured since the late 70's have anti-siphoning screens at the bottom of the fill tube to the tank. So, sorry to say, no you can't siphon this new gas. I can truly commiserate with you as it's happened more than once. I've just filled my tank and the vehicle bites the big one. The only way to get to that gas is to drop the tank.

Why my montana sv6 heater has cold air comes out from the air vent?

This is a GM PRODUCT PROBLEM. It is either the heat sensor activator that opens and closes the doors to the cold/hot air..it is normaly located on the end if the airbox just under the dash above the brake pedal...have someone operated the controls and see if you can see it operate..if it is broken it will not operate and faily easy changeout..but if it does and air will not change..it is an internal airbox problem.broken door operating arm..Major labor repairs..good luck..

Replaced thermostat and water pump on a 2001 Pontiac Montana, also flushed system. replaced with proper amount of coolant, but heater still will not produce warm air. .

There is a mix damper inside your duct that controls the heat over heater core and ac evaporator that to your floor and one to your defrost. it is probable an electric actuator, that is not functioning properly. If yu can locate it and manually move it, you might have to remove the actuator motor first, you should be able to figure out your problem, I hope this helps! merry Christmas!

Changing front Wheel Bearings

You didn't say what year model you have but should be similar on all models. First, buy them online, you can get both for less than the price of one at a parts store. You will need to remove the wheel, remove the axle nut, remove the bolts that hold it in, and unplug the antilock sensor. Reinstall in the reverse order. This is fairly simple and should take a couple of hours to do both sides.

Front axle how to install

You'll need to extract the end the axle shaft from the hub bearing. There is not enough play in the axle shaft to allow this without at least partially removing the front strut assembly. Sometimes just separating the lower ball joint will allow the strut/spring to move enough to work the spline out the bearing. Once you've done that, then you must "pop" the inner CV joint out of the transaxle. It is installed with a snap ring to hold it in place. This process can be tricky and you can damage the CV joint or the transaxle case if you don't exercise caution while doing this. Be careful not to pull outward on the axle shaft...this will not release the inner joint and will most likely cause the inner joint to separate, making removal more difficult.

How do i remove radiator plug from 2002 pontiac montana?

Most radiators have a plastic plug on thr bottom. You tyoically have to remove the plastic splash guard from under the front bumper then locate the plug on the left or right side of the radiator. Some have a hex or allen wrench to open them, others have the easy turn butterfly tab. When you turn it, it will come down but not necessarily all the way off. The fluid will then drain down or sideways and down depensing on tge valve type. There are a few types that are different and if you cant figure it out, just google it or get a repair manual from your local auto parts store.

How mytransit van starting then just dies

Unless you have a totally clogged air filter, you need to have your fuel flow system checked...any gas smell? The fuel pressure regulator can cause this...does it start back up? The "crank position sensor" can come and go like this...don't get stranded, get a mechanic to diagnose...then you can decide how costly to fix. Hope this helps.
