I believe that you would still need it for the heater function.

I use a film of sealant on both sides of the gasket. I place the gasket on the water pump and then install the water pump to the front of the engine. Don't forget to clean the old gasket off of the engine.

The dual horns are located between the radiator and engine...the horn button controls the circuit...you must remove the steering wheel to gain access to the horn button spring assembly...pre-air bag so not a big deal to remove the steering wheel on your 79 T/A...hope this helps.

The brake warning switch needs to be bled to position the plunger to the neutral position.

If you have power to the switch, then back prob and make sure power is coming through the switch, if it is then you have something unplugged or shorted in the wiring to the lights. Trace to trunk,trace backward to the switch. If you had a tune generator and a sound wand it would make it easier to trace. Good luck

a bad fuse or circuit braker.

The fuse box is two seperate pieces, an inner, under the dash, and an outer, on the firewall. You might have cooked where they join. There is a bolt that holds the two halves together.

all jokes aside you need to remove your right inner fender well and to get that off you might have to remove your hood and right fender.

The distributor madual will do that, take to auto zone or napa and they can chk. it for you. Also when you put that one, or a new one back in, use the diletheum grease on the surfaces.
