Where are the fuse and relay for the front heater blower located on a 2001 Dodge Durango?
I replaced the blower resistor in my 2001, located in the air box near the blower motor, and it works fine. I found a page on the internet that told how to do it. Pretty easy and costs around $45 at the local parts store. My mechanic shop wanted over $200 to fix it. Takes a 1/4 drive socket set, a wire crimper/stripper, and some wire connectors. I also had to replace the plug from the wiring harness which was burnt and probably the cause of the problem. I got one out of a junkyard. If the plug is bad, you might have to replace just that.

It is acually called the vehicle speed sensor I do believe. It should should be located on the top of your transmission with a wiring harness attached to it. It should also have 1 bolt holding it in also. Whatever you do, do not rotate the gear when you remove it. Try to mark the exact way it came out when you replace the sensor. When you pull the sensor out it will have this gear attached to it which will need to be placed into the new sensor and put back into the vehicle in the same way it came out or you will throw a code and it will not be pretty. Good luck, hopefully I didn't scare you it can be a simple repair just mind your P's and Q's.

Most likely the bumper cover will have to be removed, but not the entire bumper. It will require removing a few screws and then a couple of pop in fasteners.
Where is the flash relay on a 2001 dodge durango located?
It is located in the hidden fuse panel on the Driver's side on the end of the dash. It's behind the panel usually hidden when the door is closed.
MAKE SURE YOU PULL THE CORRECT ONE!! It's a whole world of problems if you don't.
**BE AWARE THE IMAGE IS ONLY TO SHOW YOU WHERE THE FUSE PANEL IS! THE RELAY POSITION MAY BE DIFFERENT!**

I have an 2001 dodge durango that i have had to
Does your Durango have trailer wiring installed, and if so, was it factory installed or installed aftermarket? If installed aftermarket, there's a really good chance your wiring issues are due to incorrect connectors being used to tap in to the factory wiring which has allowed water and other elements to corrode the wiring, causing an intermittent connection.
My dodge durango when it gets to 25 and 35 mph it jerks, this comes and goes.
does your model have the metal tank or the plastic tank, can you also check that the breather line for the tank is not blocked, ( can test by removing tank cap and driving at the speeds you having problems and if the problem is gone that is the problem. also with the metal tank/ or plastic the filter could be limited and not letting enough fuel though this can also block the fuel rail filter in the regulator on the injection rail. check these.
I have a 2001 Durango. My heater only blows cold
-Here some basic solution that need to follow:
-You already flush the system. Okay.
But did water go through the heater core and come out ? If Not Then do the following:
-Loose both heater hoses on the engine side that go to the heater and flush from 1 end and then switch to the other end. You should see water pass trough of both direction.
-If not go trough then make sure the heater valve is open
-Check the heater valve. Does it operate properly...?
(When switch to cold it closed the water line. When switch to hot it should open the line to let the water go trough the heater core.
-Check the heater return pipe and the outlet pipe on the engine for block due to corrosion build up inside too. If it's block then clean it and flush from both end of pipe same you flush the heater core.
If water go trough on either end of the above device. You should have heat now.
-Make sure water in the radiator is full too.
Good luck, stay warm and enjoy
