MY 2003 MALIBU AC WORK VERY COOL FOR ABOUT ONE HOUR AND THEN TURN A BIT HOT AND THEN NO AIR COME OUT WHY I HAVE CHECK THE FREON AND ITS OK .

If you don't know where the DLC - data link connector or ALDL -assembly line diagnostic link , both are proper terminology and are the same ! How did you hook up the OBD 2 reader ? because that's where you need to hook up a scan tool , code reader etc. Below dash left side of the steering wheel !

Start by checking the fuse.

Check the catalytic converter, It could be clogging up. Easiest way to check is pull the of the O2 sensors before the cat. It will be louder, but if it doesn't bog down, replace the cat.

if you are referring to the a/c system the low side is the larger diameter tube

Vacuumed and filled freon on 04 Malibu...still blows hot....ac clutch is good..can anyone help

The first thing to do would be have it hooked up to a scan tool . check for DTC'S an look at the engine data for the sensors , to see if one is out of specifications . A crankshaft sensor , mass air flow sensor could cause this. Yours has two crank sensors . an a cam sensor ! This is from GM factory service information ! Symptoms - Engine Controls Important Preliminary Checks Before Starting Before using the Symptom tables, use the following: ?€¢ Perform Diagnostic System Check - Engine Controls and verify all of the following items:

- Clear the DTCs.

- Ensure that the scan tool data is within normal operating range. Refer to Scan Tool Data List .

?€¢ Perform the Visual and Physical Check in this section.

Locate the correct symptom in the list at the end of this section. Follow the procedures in the appropriate diagnostic table. If the condition can not be duplicated, or is determined to be intermittent, refer to Intermittent Conditions . Visual/Physical Check Notice: Use the connector test adapter kit J 35616-A for any test that requires probing the following items: ?€¢ The PCM harness connectors

?€¢ The electrical center fuse/relay cavities

?€¢ The component terminals

?€¢ The component harness connector

Using this kit will prevent damage caused by the improper probing of connector terminals. Several of the symptom procedures call for a careful inspection. This can lead to correcting a condition without further tests and can save valuable time. This inspection should include the following areas: ?€¢ Inspect the PCM grounds for being clean, tight, and in their proper location. Refer to Master Electrical Component List and Power and Grounding Connector End Views in Wiring Systems.

?€¢ Inspect the vacuum hoses for splits, kinks, and proper connections, as shown on Vehicle Emission Control Information label. Inspect thoroughly for any type of leak or restriction. Refer to Emission Hose Routing Diagram .

?€¢ Inspect the air intake ducts for being collapsed, damaged areas, looseness, improper installation, or leaking, especially between the mass air flow (MAF) sensor and the throttle body.

?€¢ Inspect for air leaks at throttle body mounting area, MAF sensor and intake manifold sealing surfaces.

?€¢ Inspect the wiring harness for poor connections, pinches, cuts, or other damage.

I would not think the cruse control , is the light on when it does it ?

try the emergency flashers to see if they work and at the same time check all the signal bulbs to make sure they are working. if so then the signal flasher is probably bad and needs replacing. there are 2 units one for the emergency and one for the signal flashers.

Look under the hood and open the black plastic cap on the lower aluminium valves and spray inside BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING READ THE INSTRUCTIONS on the can the car needs to be started and the a/c turned on before you spray it in keep car and ac on while you add the freon

Bad turn signal flasher/solenoid. I think yours is located to the right of the steering column in a clip. Stop by an auto shoppe. They can help and they aren't real expensive to purchase (about $25). If that doesn't do it, it sounds like it is in the wiring... Good Luck

Try banging on the bottom of the door with your fist while holding the button in the up position. If this doesn't work, the door may have to be taken apart and the motor/regulator assembly tested

The only thing these have in common is the ground wires. You have three points to check. Under the dash you will have some connected to the steering column. There is one behind the kick panel on the drivers side and one behind the kick panel on the passenger side.

Most likely the cause of this is because of the switch not operating properly. The wiper switch circuitry has 3 different diodes. One for high, one for low, and one between the 2 relays that run the motor. One relay turns the juice on and the other determines if it's high or low speed. On/off is relay 39, high/low is relay 40. You'll find them under the hood. Lift off the battery cover, then the fuse block cover. On the underside of the fuse cover is the location legend. The diode is #27. Check it for pass/no pass with a small light while unplugged from the circuit. Also try swapping the two relays with each other. This will determine if the problem is the switch.

Shake ya sterring wheel from side to side and try turning ya key. The lock could be stuck and needs to be freed up. This should do the trick.
