Why 2001 chevy venture van wont start in the cold.

Look at the ignition module or the computer. Taking off the battery cable resets the electronics. Have a diagnostic done on it to pinpoint the problem.

The electric sliding door on my 2001 Chevy venture will not stay closed when the power switch is no

Both sides have their own modules. They are behind the panels right beside the middle seats. Remove the back seats (if you have third row seating) Pull the panel (they pop off). Either replace the module or disconnect it and manually open and close the side door.

How do I replace a timing chain on a 3.4 2001 Chevrolet venture

This is a lot of work. You have to remove everything off the front of the engine(not much room to work), remove the balancer, remove the tire and inner fender covers. The timing has to be set at exact positions. You really need a manual to do this. Lots of info. Just a note. I have never replaced a timing chain in the 3.1 and 3.4 engines(both the same). What problems are you having?

ChevVenturevanwindow

If only one window is not operating, it is either a switch problem, a window motor problem, or a window regulator problem. You will need to remove the door panel and begin troubleshooting.

Probably a bad switch. Could be a broken wire in the door hinge area.

Location airbag sensors on a 2001 Chevy Venture

Not being too familiar with the Chevy venture apart from being in the vacinity of the radiator somewhere the only other option I would of thought is on the front part of a chassis rail where the bumper bolts to my reason being is that you would not want the airbags to deploy from a slow impact but a more fierce impact when damage could start to crush the front part of the chassis then the airbags would be deployed
