COMPLETE WIREING DIAGRAM FOR ITASCA

You my friend have a project ahead of you. I don't think Itasca could get you a wiring diagram for it. Most of them were built on "running assembly" lines and sourced parts from assorted suppliers. Depending on what's inoperative, you will probably building your own harness'. You might check with some of the larger RV shops for advice/tech info but I'm afraid you're in for an adventure.. (sorry, didn't have better answer)

Where is the transmission fluid

If you do not find the dipstick at the front, by the radiator, pull the engine cover. Look on the right side of the trans for the tube and add fluid there.

My speedmeter stop working while i was driving my

more than likely its the cable running from the back of your tranny to you speedmeter it either screws onto your tranny or there is just a clip you pull try to keep dirt from falling in there after you pull it then you are gonna half to pull apart your dash just pull off that black panel that all your gauges are behind the once you get that off you need to pull that hole gauge cluster out theres like 4 screws around the coners you shouldnt have to pull of the clear peace once you get those screws out pull it forward and right behind where your speedmeter is is the other end of that cable there will be a clip there i belive you pull that and the hole thing should feel out the bottum make a note of how it runs thro so when you put it back in you have some kinda idea

The speedometer repair & general tune up on my 1979 Chevy Van 30

I would think you need to connect that cable up, it will go from the back of the speedometer head, thru the firewall and down under the van to the driver side rear of the transmission, if it doesn't have cruise control, if it does, there will be a cable from the speedometer head to a box, usually in the engine compartment, where another cable will run from that box to the driver side rear of the transmission. The oil filter should be at the back of the driver side of the motor, underneath. The air filter should be on top of the throttle body, there should be enough room to get to it by removing the "doghouse" cover inside the van. I would consider replacing the fuel filter, tranmission fluid and filter. A set of spark plugs wouldn't hurt too.Take a look at the anti-freeze color. Also, check for any leaks once you get it going.

1984 chevy G30 5.7 350 engine problems

Sorry to say that the head gasket was blown. Coolant already mixed with oil to generate that milky thing. There is no power since there is not compression due to the leak going through the head gasket.

How do I change the

Hi,

The heater core is removed from the inside of the vehicle. It is quite the adventure, especially if it has A/C, but if you have done one before, you at least have an idea what to do. Just be careful installing the new one so that the in and out tubes don't get bent.

Let me know, if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

Van won't start not even when jumpstarting, tried

If a gasoline engine has Fuel, Spark and Compression it will run. You can tell if this van has fuel by removing the air cleaner and looking down the throat of the carburetor. Push the throttle all the way open while you watch. Fuel should squirt into the carburetor throats. If it does not you have a fuel issue. If it does check for spark by pulling a plug wire off one of the spark plugs in the engine. Push an old spark plug into the boot and ground the steel body of the plug against the block. Have someone turn the engine over. You should see and hear a spark jumping across the gap in the plug. If not you have an electrical problem. Fuel could be an empty tank or an airlock in the fuel line. Electrical could be any number of things, most likely a dead coil or a loose wire on the distributor cap. The coil is inside the distributor cap and is not expensive and not hard to change. If the truck has not been driven in a while it is possible that the fuel is dead. If you have fuel at the carburetor that smells like a dead rat you must drain the system and start over with fresh fuel. Good Luck.

79 chevy beauville fuel lines

79 is carbureted...There is a 5/8" nut fitting on the end of the fuel line at the carb inlet. Use a 1" wrench to hold the nut on the carb fitting and a flair nut wrench to remove the smaller line nut. Then remove the 1" one. The fuel filter is right behind the 1" one. Be careful to keep it straight when replacing it. The carb metal is soft and strips out easily. Don't loose any seal rings there either.

My van is hard to start . its a 350 auto.

Change cap and rotor and test the coil. Also make sure all wire connections to the cap are good...filing may not be solving the problem but removing and plugging back in may be. Also check internal dist wiring for breaks, especially pickup coil wires from under breaker plate.

I need a repair manual for a 1987-88 grumman

If my memory serves me right, Grumman was using GM chassis and running gear back then. An auto parts store that has manuals as a back-up to the computer should be able to sort out your filters. You could try faxon.com for a service manual. Hope this helps.
