What could cause oil in antifreeze but no coolant in oil other than the engine oil cooler in the radiator?

Generally, Which system had the most pressure when the leak occurred? If the oil system had the most pressure, at that time, then it makes sense that you could get oil in the cooling system with no antifreeze in the oil. Or vise-versa. There may be other variables? Just my 2 cents.

So i got a 1994 chevy pickup z71 short bed single

K1500 , why skip telling this fact. K2500, k3500 ? we can't just guess. we can not just drive the this truck and know. impossible. post all driving evidence first.are you on ICE ? no road conditions told nor what transfer case option it has. to fix 4wd, one must know the drive train. if not there can be no good help.blind transfer case full Dexron (max#) ATF fluid>? not all leaked or leaking out. NP205?? part time or NP208 part time,, not for pavement lacking ICE NP241 full time 4wd BW 1370, BW4401 and BW4470(borg warner) 6boxes used, the tag on the box is what it is.,for sure. the 205 is for off road only step one, under car rear of TC (transfer case) that tag learn to know the tag model 207, top line, and line 3 date 1986, 261 is 2.61:1, 4Low ratio. np207-1986-undefined-undefined-0.jpg

Chevy silverado keeps blowing fuses

Your 20 amp fuse will not blow if glowplug wire shorts. each plug draws 15 amps which is 120 amps total.I think there are in line fuses for them. Try to wring out where each output from the fuse goes, disconnect all and reconnect one at a time till it blows.That should point to your problem process of illumination! Good Luck!!

I would replace the idle air control valve, or at least check the connector and wiring very carefully. Have your temperature sending unit checked to be sure the computer is taking it out of cold start mode. Most likely it is not working and still dumping too much fuel into the engine and causing the high reading. Think about what I just said, makes sense doesn't it.

Does anyone know the exact location of the 30 amp in-line fuse on the in-line fused battery feed wire for a 94 z71 pick-up for the optional 7-wire harness? I think that that might be the reason why my

its called the fusiable link the orange wire coming from the bat terminal if this wire is soft and easy to bend it is burnt and link is bad wire must be cut out and replaced . do not put a regular wire or the next time it will burn somthing costly replace with 30 amp inline fuse or new fusiable link

First off the thermostat is way to low of a temperature you are wasting fuel. That said you either have a p[lugged heater core (very unlikely) or you have a air temperature control blend door problem.

How much would it cost to change the oil pan gasket on a 1994 Chevy k1500 5.7Lt?

you can get the gasket for about $20. REmove the pan bolts and it should drop straight down. When you tighten back up make several rounds around the pan tightening bolts so they tighten evenly. DO NOT fully tighten each bolt before moving to the next bolt. if you take itt in plan on paying about $150 to $200.

Wow. A snapped side shaft sounds serious. If you lift the front end of the truck, (or the rear end for that matter) the wheels will appear to be counter rotating, it is the way a differential works. If you turn the left wheel forward, the right wheel will turn backwards, and vice versa. When you change to 4wd the front end does make a rather loud clunking sound as the gears engage. You should therefore change while the truck is stationary, then slowly move forward or back until the 4wd engages, then take off. If your truck went OK on ice, it should go as well on pavement, just don't try to engage 4x4 while moving.
