You need to change the "Coolant Temperature Sensor". That usually controls the fan. If the fan does not run, you will overheat.

By the gas tank there is a type of vapor line, on which there is a rubber elbow in between the two lines. One end is smaller than the other. If that rubber piece is not airtight the engine will stall out, I hope that helps.

Installation of front left speaker

Very little info here. All speakers will need to have the trim panel covering them removed before replacement. After the panel is removed you simply take out the screws that hold in the speaker and remove the two wires. Would not suggest replacing only one speaker as it counterpart on the other side should match. Different speakers have different resistance and different specs, replace them as a pair.

I can't shift out of park on my 1995 Buick Century. What could be the problem?

hmm. I had the same problem with my old 1979 Ford LTD after showing off my fast car by putting on the brake and the gas at the same time so that my car tires would squeal and take off. There was a bang after that and it was not right. I dunno if this will apply to you but you can check. Finally I crawled under the car and just stared at stuff to see if anything was out of place. After about a minute, I then noticed a rod with a bend in it was hanging and there was a lever or something with a hole in it. I realized that rod belonged in that hole. I pushed it really hard to get it back into the hole. I then checked the gears again and it worked!! Don't know if this will apply with newer cars. Good Luck.

1995 buick century cooling fan doesn't work.

I have the 1999 Century and have finally found the Head Gasket is leaky coming out the exhaust. I have to pray for the temperature gauge to come down. The mechanic I go to finally put in nearly a quart of Head Gasket sealant and she ran fine for a couple months and I popped a hose. From here I asked him to put some more sealant in, yet it did not work. I needed coolant and the only way to put it in was to open a relief valve when it was getting hot while running and it took almost a whole gallon. Without knowing of this relief valve I would be dead. I've heard of a way to put a resistor in the coolant fan harness to turn it on earlier, does anyone out there have an answer to this. Thanks a million. [email protected]

You'll need to check fuel pressure with a gauge and check the plugs to see if they are fuel soaked. Could be a faulty injector or fuel pressure regulator if it is getting too much fuel.

How to replace rear window power regulator motor

First, make sure the problem is the motor itself. Remove the interior panel and check that the switch is getting power and that it's sending it to the motor-use a test light. If the power is ok raise the glass all the way up and duct tape it in place. Disconnect the electrical connector from the motor and drill out the factory rivets. The new motor should come with bolts to replace them. Unhook the motor from the regulator and remove it. New motors are not too expensive and all parts houses (autozone, oreillys) should stock them.
