Don't run the engine unnecessarily. Carry out an oil pressure test. If the pressure is low - get it fixed. If the pressure is normal/high there is a blockage in the oil feed to the cylinder head...

Try this. Find the ambient temperature sensor. The one that reads the outside air temperature. Put an ice pack around it and try turning it back on and hot the accelerator. The sensors are usually around the front of the vehicle.

Check the wiring from the license plate harness back. You may find a damaged or loose wire/connection

What have you done as far as a diagnosis? Have you checked for any codes in the ECM? Have you checked for spark? Have you checked correct timing? Checked for fuel pressure?

Have you checked power to the A/C compressor? Are your fans working when you turn the A/C on? Have you checked for any leaks on the A/C lines that are in the engine compartment? The relay could be in the engine compartment or under the dashboard, driver side.

low or no freon---- compression problem

Could be fuel pump problem or no spark. You can check the spark by taking one of the plugs out and seeing if there is a spark while the engine is turning over. If there is, it's probably a fuel pump or fuel filter problem.

i got a 96 Golf 3 GL 2.0L my relay and fuses are under the dash and the only fuses is just the FCU under my expansion pack. sometimes I don't get the right answer that i want, but is that it to my mk3 GL or is there more relay locations i don't know about? this is my first month owning an mk3 for the first time. hopefully i made a right choice, engine has only 96k on her. sweet right?

Sounds like sticking solenoid however these have been known to throw clutch springs in change drum. pressure test and check fluid levels first

does it come along with total NO LIGHTS on dash? the u need the EVC ( stering column ecu ) and specific cases only goes with a new comfort module

find the vacuum leak , change the rubber vacuum hose that is leaking .

Which speed sensor? There are two or three. One for the EEC transmission control function. Another for the speedometer. They are all connectors on the top or side of the transmission. http://www.fixya.com/cars/t27237258-location_output_speed_sensor_2007_vw Beware that there may be more than one sensor.

Got to Auto Parts store and they should - for FREE - check the codes. Or buy an OBD2 / OBDII scanner for $20 @ Walmart and check it yourself. 'We' must know the code(s) to assist. Good luck.
