Why is my 88 GMC suburban 7.4L bogging when i
Hi.
It looks like a transmission problem. Probably the gear is not kicking in at the right time because of a faulty TPS(throttle position sensor) or because of a different fault.
If problem is gear (eg. shifting too early), then you may get additional codes like misfire caused by the wrong-time shifting.
The first thing to do is an engine code reading. This can be done free of charge at the nearest autozone. You will have to write down the error codes in a paper, they usually do not give you any printout on the free scan.
I suggest having the engine scanned and reporting the codes here.

How do i change the fuel pump on a 1988 gmc
The fuel pump on this vehicle is inside the tank which means the tank has to be removed to gain access to to it. This can be a fairly tough job if you live in an area with a lot of rust as the fasteners and fuel line fittings tend to get rusty and can be difficult to remove. You can remove the pickup box and get at the pump from the top but again some of the box bolts are difficult to remove and it's easy to ding up the box paint when doing it this way. I only use OEM pumps in these as I've had the best long term luck with them and it's not a job you want to do over in a few months. Look very closely at the wiring connectors at the pump and the pump holding fixture and if any of them show even the least amount of discoloration or evidence of melting then replace them accordingly. Be very careful around any fuel tank as all fuel is extremely flammable!

When driving the drivers side front tire seems
check your tires for cupping by looking for chopped or small flat spots ,steel belt wire sticking out, and rubbing your open hand along the tread.these vehicle are bad about wearing out the tie rod and pitman arms.also if your shocks are over 2 years they may be weak and need replaced.wish you the best.

Do you know the length of the brake line that
I don't know the length, but I can tell you that most auto parts stores sell brake line in 5 foot sections. Brake lines are usually 3/16" or 1/4" so you need to make sure you get the right size. If your application requires more than five feet, you will have to use a compression fitting and add on to the length you need. You will need tubing cutter, flairing tool, and tubing bender for this job. Hope this helps and good luck.
