Replace computer on 2005 denali
It's either under the hood on the passenger fender well or under the passenger seat. Unplug the negative battery terminal first then the computer and remove installation is reverse! Hope this helps...
Front power seat on 2005 gmc denali doesn't raise or lower
Check fuses.
Then look under the seat to make sure there are not any dis-connected plugs, things get shoved under seats and plugs get disconnected.
If you can tell what wires are for the seat, you can unplug them and use a 12V test light to tell if you are getting power to the seat motors. (this would tell you if the motors are good, if you are getting power to them)
How to change an oil pan gasket?
You do not have much information to reply to.
First, buy the proper gasket, oil filter and enough oil for your vehicle so that you can complete the job. You will also need a drain pan large enough to hold all of the oil you drain out of the engine (5 quarts is usually what you need). You will also need sockets, wrenches a rubber mallet to remove the pan as well as rags to wipe up any spills.
You will need enough access under the vehicle to crawl under it and place the drain pan under the drain plug. (you might need to either use ramps or jack the car up to gain access. Be careful.)
Use a wrench to remove the drain plug turning counter clockwise to remove. The oil will then drain out. (make sure you have a rag to wipe up any spilled oil). Use an oil filter wrench to remove the oil filter from the engine.
Look up at the pan and you will see lots of small bolts around the upper part of the pan. These are what holds the pan to the engine. They must be removed. If the pan is stuck to the engine after removing all of the bolts, us the rubber mallet to GENTLY tap around the top part of the pan to break it free from the engine (be very careful as the metal of the oil pan is very thin and easily bent).
Lower the pan from the vehicle and clean, removing all traces of the old gasket from the pan as well as the engine. (use a putty knife and be careful not to put any gouges in the pan or engine surface.
Place the new gasket on the top of the pan, place it up against the engine and hand tighten all of the bolts. Then using a socket, gently tighten the bolts (clockwise) using a cross pattern to keep the gasket from warping. (do NOT over tight the bolts as they will break off fairly easily) Do not forget to tighten the oil drain plug as well.
Replace the new oil filter on the engine and add the proper amount of oil.
Start and run the engine and check for any leaks.
Turn off and let sit for a minute and re-check the oil level.
Yukon problems
Could be a few things but the tork converter would be 1 the bearings in the alternator or a stretched serpentine belt
2005 GMC Yukon Denali's computer shuts down after the truck warms up
sounds like a fuel problem, how many miles on vehicle? as a quick fix it would be worth using a fuel addative , you haven't said if petrol or diesel, if petrol get addative that covers the catalytic converter ,having a blocked exhaust system can cause engine to stall also get the OBD codes read as this will tell you what if any sensors/switch's are faulty
CODE U1054
U1054 is no communication with Rear HVAC control module and is not connected to the Trac Off lt.
Need to have truck scanned and look at ABS and PCM for codes and go from there.
Shift silonids a-b
There are 2 different transmissions for these trucks.
First remove trans pan and catch fluid in drain pan.
For the 4L60-E and the 4L80-E the the 1-2 and 3-4 shift solenoids and the furthest to the rear of the valve body, unplug electrical connector, then remove the retaining clip on each solenoid and remove.
