95 gmc sierra won't hold steady rpm

Sounds like wiring problems with the engine harness. The oil pressure not working could cause the hard starting problem. The idle problem could be a faulty idle air control valve or a vac leak.I would start with the check engine light and find out what the codes are.

Tachomiter speedomiter dont work wont shift

HelloThe engine and automatic transmission in this vehicles drive train are fully electronically controlled by a computer called the PCM (Power Train Control Module). Whenever a problem like this occurs the computer stores a record of the problem (there are of course some exceptions to this, like the fuel pump, engine coolant temperature sensor and MAF sensor for instance) in the form of a fault code in its memory, to read these fault codes you must have the systems memory scanned with a special tool. Once the fault code(s) are read you then must perform the appropriate diagnostic testing to find and resolve the problem(s) DO NOT REPLACE ANY PARTS UNTIL A TRAINED TECHNICAIN HAS DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM TO AVOID SPENDING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON PARTS THAT MAY NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM

If the injectors show a pusle with the tester you must have no fuel pressure at the injector or it is defective.

I have a 1995 gmc sierra 4x4. It blows

The short is inside the trans, but you will need to take the pan off and trace each wire to find out where the short actually is. You have narrowed it down pretty well. One way to really narrow it down before you take the trans out is to unplug the connector and put battery power to the PINK wire cavity. Now take a jumper wire with a 10 amp fuse and touch each wire until the fuse blows. The TAN/BLACK is the Torque Converter Clutch solenoid. BROWN is the 2/3 shift solenoid. Lt. Green is Shift Solenoid "A" and YELLOW/BLACK is Shift Solenoid "B". Those 4 solenoids are powered by the Trans Fuse.

What would be the problem when I use the AC or heat on a 1995 GMC pick up truck, the heat or Ac only come through the defrost. Does all of that work off of a vacuum?

Common question here - GM trucks use small electric motors to control the blend doors. If you take the glove box out you may be able to see the box where the motor is mounted. Usually the small motor fails.
