Check your glow plugs fuse first then have it look at by a pro.

first check the connections at the battery. make sure there is no corrosion between the cable end and the battery.When you say it wont start can you hear the starter cranking the engine over or is the vehicle completely dead?If its completely dead I would check for power to the ignition switch. if there is power than I would check for power out of the switch. If there is no power than possible the ignition switch is failing. I might be able to get you some wiring info if needed. just let me know. starter bendix sticking maybe

Hi, you've hit the usual causes. Now check for vacuum leaks and also for an EGR valve stuck open.

How's your fuel filter ?

if it is not down shifting when you are applying aggressive gas pedal, maybe your transmission linkage to throttle body is off, or needs adjusted,

Look on the driver side of the truck and see if the shifter is on and see it came off and just put it back on. Ifif on than look at your steering colum and see if is ok there

It is difficult to replace the key tumbler if you can not rotate it. Your vehicle has a keycode that can be used to have a another key made. Also, a good locksmith can make a key for it.

it could be, since you have the tranny out, still I hope, replace the torque converter, your key phrase, when putting under pressure, but this may also refer to the PUMP ! but the noise points more towards the converter !!! if pump went, you would\'nt have any drive at all ! GO FOR IT, replace converter .

unbolt the pan

use inductive timing light, hook up to battery, place clamp over #1 plug wire, clean off timing marks on damper, & metal plate @ damper (crankshaft) area. timing connector ? I do believe there is a EST ,electronic spark timing system, that needs unpluged, may be on firewall, near distributor, next to fuel pump relay, like my gmc, not sure about yours, then you can start timing procedure, make sure your timing marks are cleaned and rub chalk on them to highlight for better viewing . a repair manual @ parts store shows you exactly for 1995.

Have you checked spark and fuel pressure when it fails to start ?

Check your clutch slave cylinder. If this fails you can be unable to engage the clutch at all.

Sounds like your out of brake fluid on the clutch master cyl.
