Hi. I work on cars and motorcycles all the time. I can try to help you...Can you explain further? What where you working on? what did you remove? What exactly do you mean the steering wheel is loose? Are you talking about the steering colum?

The system is probably air bound. Run the car from a cold engine with the radiator cap off to allow air to escape. The coolant level should go down in the radiator as the air is released.

Your multi switch could be bad. That's the switch you had to mess with to get the lighs to turn off. . Check with your local parts store for the part.

Remove the dash

this item threads into the intake or block depending on make and model.. parts store can tell where its exact location should be..has wires connected to it that get disconnected and it should unscrew out of the mount..instalation is reverse of removeal.

No standard toggle switch there for these cars. Maybe someone put in a sort of immobiliser or even indicator switch or even switch for radio. Remove it from there and check where the wires are leading.

hello user, did you check the ground on the engine? if that it fine then try to turn the key on and don't start the motor, just disconnect the red wire coupling which goes to the stater and direct connect it to the battery +ve terminal. See if it starts. if it dose he install a selonoid inbetveen the stater and bettery. the problem will be fixed.

It is just under the dash behind a removable panel. Look below your headlight switch on the driver side just inside the car. Right under there is the storate bin area. There is a panel there that simply pulls out. The fuse box is behind and the diragram for which fuse is which is on the back of the panel.Note that if your look up under the dash you can see the fuse box. If you can't immedialty find the panel to remove. Look straight up under the dash in that spot and you will see the fuse box. The panel is directly in front of the fuse panel.

HAve you checked the relays? And all the wires? If not try that. It may just be a bad connection.

Try having the seatbelt sensor checked. Just bought 1991 vw jetta yesterday. They Owners said that the car wouldn't start. They had the starter rebuilt, they tried boosting it, but it still didn't start. They finally found out that the seatbelt sensor was bad, and because it is a safety feature it wasn't allowing the car to start. Instead of replacing the sensor they by passed it by cutting the wires that go from the latch down through the door ppanel and twisted them together. The seatbelt still latches it just by passed the senso sor and allow the car to start.
