I have a Mazda rustler 2002, suddenly its dead
if it starts by push start and runs then it's obviously a standard. Then it's not your wiring it's your battery. now if your battery drains down quickly, then your starter may have an internal ground . but sounds more like a f ..upped battery.sometimes you may put a battery on a charger, and it may show that it is charged, but in actual fact bateries calcifie over time, and are use less.

Changing fuel filter on 2002 Mazda pickup
Clean all dirt and/or grease from the
fuel filter fittings. "Quick Connect" fittings are used on models
equipped with a pressurized fuel system. These fittings must be
disconnected using the proper procedure or the fittings may be damaged.
The fuel filter uses a "hairpin" clip retainer. Spread the two hairpin
clip legs about 1/8 in. (3mm) each to disengage
it from the fitting, then pull the clip outward. Use finger pressure
only; do not use any tools. Push the quick connect fittings onto the
filter ends. Mazda recommends that the retaining clips be replaced
whenever removed. The fuel tubes used on these fuel systems are
manufactured in 5/16 in. and 3/8
in. diameters. Each fuel tube takes a different size hairpin clip, so
keep this in mind when purchasing new clips. A click will be heard when
the hairpin clip snaps into its proper position. Pull on the lines with
moderate pressure to ensure proper connection. Start the engine and
check for fuel leaks. If the inertia switch (reset switch) was
disconnected to relieve the fuel system pressure, cycle the ignition
switch from the
OFF to
ON position several times to re-charge the fuel system before attempting to start the engine.
Remove the "hairpin" clip retainers to access the fuel line fittingsThe
inline reservoir type fuel filter should last the life of the vehicle
under normal driving conditions. If the filter does need to be
replaced, proceed as follows:
CAUTIONIf
the fuel filter is being serviced with the rear of the vehicle higher
than the front, or if the tank is pressurized, fuel leakage or
siphoning from the tank fuel lines could occur. to prevent this
condition, maintain the vehicle front end at or above the level of the
rear of vehicle. also, relieve tank pressure by loosening the fuel fill
cap. cap should be tightened after pressure is relieved.
- Shut the engine off. Depressurize the fuel system.
- Raise and support the vehicle safely.
- Detach
the fuel lines from both ends of the fuel filter by disengaging both
push connect fittings. Install new retainer clips in each push connect
fitting.
- Note which way the flow direction arrow points on the old filter.
- Remove the filter from the bracket by loosening the filter retaining clamp enough to allow the filter to pass through.
The
flow direction arrow should be positioned as installed in the bracket
to ensure proper flow of fuel through the replacement filter.
- Install the filter in the bracket, ensuring proper direction of flow as noted by arrow. Tighten clamp to 15-25 inch lbs.
- Install the push connect fittings at both ends of the filter.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Start the engine and check for leaks.
- Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions section.
- Properly relieve the fuel system pressure.
- Remove or disconnect the following:
- Negative battery cable
- Push connect and R-clip fittings from the fuel filter
- Fuel filter
Fuel filter location and connections–2002–2006
To install:
- Install or connect the following:
- Fuel filter. Torque the nut to 17 ft. lbs. (23 Nm).
- R-clip and push connect fittings
- Negative battery cable
- Start the vehicle, check for leaks and repair if necessary.

I have a 2002-2003 mazda
1) You won't find a fuel pump pulley. They're electric.
2) The top pulley has nothing to do with valves.
3) You really should just be able to see the crank pulley.
When you get the front/timing cover off, you'll see a chain / belt attaching two sprockets. You should get a haynes guide for timing your car - if you're off one degree you could cause catastrophic engine failure. There are specific procedures and special tools to ensure that the timing is properly set. Invest in them!

I'm driving a mazda drifter
Finding wiring diagrams is a difficult thing to do. You can get them but they are expensive. But the most common problem in finding electrical shorts in trucks are usually in the tow package. Do you have a tow package for trailer wiring? If so I would start there. Most of the time it is a shorted wire there. If you don't have a tow package, then try to determine when the fuse is blowing. For an example, when you press the brake pedal, or while honking the horn it blows. If it is when pressing the brake, you will know it is the brake wiring. Or when you hit a bump while pressing the brake. Finding shorts are very difficult sometimes. But finding a good wiring diagram are even more difficult.

Can I use Castrol 15w40
It's good oil, as long as the manufacturer doesn't specify that you can't use it you'll be fine. Shell Rotella is sometimes easier to find, but either will serve well.

2002 Mazda B-4000 4
You may just need a new switch. The problem with this is there is only one way to find out and most stores will not take back electronics. Check with your parts store and if the switch is fairly inexpensive I would try replacing it before tearing into the transfer case.

Looking for the transmission drain plug for mazda
My advice would be to buy a $20 repair manuel for your truck and go from there. Some trans pans have no drain plug. They are simply drained by removing all the bolts that hold the pan to the bottom of the transmission and then pulling the pan down to remove the fluid. After this is done then a new pan gasket must be installed and then tightend to proper settings using a torque wrench.

How do I disconnect the pressurized fuel line on Mazda B2300
You need a special tool called a fuel line disconnect tool. You should be able to get one for your specific vehicle at an auto parts store. However that is not the correct or safest way to check for a bad fuel pump.Check out this link for more info.
