I have a 2004 GMC Sierra 6.6 liter diesel looking for body control modular I think it's under the dash driver side not for sure though and do you have to take the dash out to replace it

it is located under the steering column. you'll only need to remove the knee board cover. it sits in a large bracket. see picture 25684152-fslbviuqxtfaynlex1uhg14h-3-0.png

Whenever I step on the brakes, it makes a load grinding noise and feels a bit mushy, and slight pull to right. I changed the brake pads, callipers, rotary. Bled the brakes.. Still the same.

check that the outside pad is still in the correct position as they can become dislodged when putting over the disc rotor.

My gmc sierra truck was running now this morning it won't start and stay running and my radio won't work and doors won't lock/ unlock and dash says unknown driver

I would unhook the battery for about 10 minutes, hook it back up then see what it does, if that doesn't work check battery, or go to owners manual to reset system.

My allison transmision is making a grinding noise when in gear from the back end of the transmision

Sounds like a bearing problem. The gears are held in place by roller bearings, and they sometimes pack up. Working the machine with a bad bearing eventually grinds up the steel balls or rollers that the flanges roll on, and the bearing collapses completely. The bearing itself will announce its demise with a grinding sound, and worst case scenario the bearing is so far gone that the gears are running out of true with respect to one another, and this could be the grinding you are hearing.

Service 4 wheel drive message comes on and no lights for 2and 4 wheel drive come on. On my 2004 gmc

Often lights under a dash or indicators just blow out bulbs. If more than one thing isn't lighting and are centralized check fuses to see if its blown. Bulb or fuse. IMHO. MIGHT be a sensor on tranny too. Hope not. Here's a video with detaile dinstrauctions and other people's fuse questions. New fuses? How to reset DIC after battery went on 2004 GMC Sierra... no gauges work, or lights and ABS icon is on as also the battery icon...

Replacing a battery won't cause this unless you happen to hook it up wrong. In that case, check fuses, All of them. If they are all good, start replacing all those parts to include some computers.
