2002 GMC Envoy Questions & Answers
Why is the a.c. blower staying on after the key is turned off in my 2002 gmc envoy?
you see those fuses, pull/replace them one at time till you pull the fuse that kills the blower motor, then we go from there. see the 40 amp fuse on the left, that is for hi speed. The two middle fuses should only go hot with the key on. Everything off and key out use a test light to check voltage at those two fuses, shouldn't be hot? I can only help with testing. I'd hate to tell you to replace something and it not fix it.
I have a 2002 gmc envoy it is displaying a code 1234 and now it want start can anyone explain this to me please
Yeah , P1234 or B1234 An it want or won't start . You need factory service repair info.to know what this is . For all codes there is a diagnostic trouble shooting procedure . Without this info your best bet ,have it towed to a qualified repair shop. 4WD - 2WD . If P - powertrain code factory info doesn't show this code . What cheap code reader are you using . It's not telling you the correct code . Cheap code readers will do this. Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop.
My 2002 Envoy wont stick in a gear when i shift
I'm not sure what you are writing. Does the gear shift selector move but without any resistance? If so, this could be a broken shift cable. If not, the transmission could have lost power and is in need of some type of repair. I would like to provide you with more information but I need more specific details about your SUV, warning lights, maintenance history, recent repairs or engine codes. Did this failure happen out of the blue or get progressively worse over time? Let me know if you can think of anything else. Good Luck.

Just replaced thermostat and now my fan clutch runs continuously
Kirkasmann, P1481 is most definitely your fan clutch, it's very common on our platform. Only wires to check is the connection on the drivers side shroud. You said replaced "again"?. I've had bad ones out of the box, or it would tick tick tick. Buy a lifetime warrantly fan clutch for this reason, plus it's easy to do (as long as you cut a notch in the top of the shroud where the upper radiator hose is).
