Sounds like you need to replace the 4-Way emergency flasher button because it is stuck causing your problem. Disconnect that flasher button and that should solve the problem. If it does replace it and your problem will be solved.

I would say start at 4.5 to 5 quarts and check after starting the motor. Slowly add to the full line on the dipstick. Some GM V8's can take up to 6 quarts.

A bad fuel pump will not keep the engine from turning over. I would first test your battery and make sure your connections are clean. If that check out I would check your starter and starter relay.

It could be several different things. If it does it only when applying the brakes I would say that your brakes rotors and drums need to be turned on a brake lathe. Other things to check are the tires either being out of balance or damaged. You may have a bent or damaged wheel. Check your front CV joints and axles. Check front wheel bearings. Check for slack in your pitman and idler arms. Check the ujoints and carrier bearing on your rear driveline.

It could very well be your fuel pump about ready to fail. There is also a fuel pump relay that you could easily replace and try. It should be located in the engine compartment. Your question has two different years listed so it could be in different locations depending which year you have.

You need to check the fuel pressure. Can your hear the fuel pump buzzing? Remove your gas cap and have a helper turn the key to the run position. With your ear close to the open tank you should hear the pump buzzing. If not you have a fuel problem. Could be the pump, pump relay, or wiring. If you hear it buzzing you still need to check the fuel pressure because a pump can buzz but still not be making enough pressure. That is where I would start.
Why do I keep blowing a 20A fuse marked ECM-I?
Hi, there is a lot of stuff running on that fuse, so it may be hard to diagnose. If the fuse blows right after starting the truck, you may be able to find the short by unplugging things, putting a new fuse in, turning the key on, and then plugging things back in until it blows. Check for any wires resting on the engine or especially a hot exhaust manifold for a wire with burned insulation. Below is the diagram for the main things powered by that fuse. These include the coil, the injectors, the crank sensor, and the PCM itself. Perhaps one of the injectors has shorted. If that were the case, the fuse would not blow when the key is turned on but only after the truck is running. If you have an ohmmeter, you could check the impedances of all of them to see if one has a lower impedance. Does the truck run at all? What engine do you have? Is the engine light on? The diagram is for the V-6, but I think the wiring for the fuse is similar in the other engines. If it runs OK for a while and then blows the fuse, I would not blame the coil or the crank sensor. Let me konw what you find out.

Sounds like you need to replace your throttle body. Maybe just the seal on the base. Really no way to check other then replace, But if you do replace make sure they change the gaskets along with it. Good luck to you, You may get a good one from a salvage yard to test it out,
