1999 ford econoline with rear air line broke
Hello. Look in the engine compartment where the ac system is and you should see an extra look alike line. It should be the bottom one or it is towards the right side bottom. Good Luck.
Van shaking
Have the engine mounts checked. If the van runs OK, and it idles OK except for shaking at idle, it may be loose or broken engine mounts.
Battery good, no start
What happens when you turn the key? Does the starter engage and crank the engine? If yes then you may have a fuel delivery problem, which could be a fuel pump, or the relay to the fuel pump.
If no then likely you do not have a good connection between the battery and the starter.
Fuel leak center of vehicle
This is on an Econoline van right? If so then to my way of thinking it could be one or two things. Most likely is a leaking fuel line, or your fuel filter is not seated properly, or the fuel filter has developed a leak.
Oh thats three things, if your driving the car just start it in Park and try to locate the leak, if your lucky you may have to push the fuel filter into its connection till it is tight, eliminating the leak. Otherwise you may need to replace some fuel line which you may not want to do, shouldn't be to expensive to ask a mechanic.
Transmission wont go into 2nd gear now stuck in park
I would guess your having a problem with your shift cable, it is a $30 part, and the transmission shop will want $200 to replace it. I recently had a problem with mine, did it myself. It was a hassle the first time.
The cable loses lubricant, and or develops a kink, then it wont push the transmission lever.
Gas pressure buildup
Replace the gas caps with new. It sounds like the vent in the original gas cap is stuck and not working.
302 timing
A good starting place is to discinnect and plug the vacuum advance and time it at 6 degrees advanced. If you hear spark knock, retard it a little. Some of these engines had the crank mark slip and cause false readings. You can always use a vacuum gauge or advance the timing till it knocks and back off till it doesn\'t knock.
