2005 VW Convertible: Battery is

Ok, there is a short somewhere in the electrical system that's causing this small motor to run when it shouldn't. A great place to start here is to locate the motor that is running, find it by ear, and physically check the wiring from the motor to the fusebox, to the battery, look for exposed copper in the wiring or any other damage to the wires or connectors. Test any relays you find along the way. It is very difficult to determine the exact issue here without physically getting my hands on the car, so my apologies if this is a bit vague. Go ahead and try a fuse test, locate the fuse box in the driver area, and with the key off, pull out one of the fuses. Listen to see if the motor is still running, if it is, put that fuse back and try another, keep doing this until the motor stops, let me know what the label is for that particular fuse that makes the motor stop when removed. As a last resort you can disconnect the battery when the car is not in use, this will keep it from dying in the mean time, until it gets fixed.
I will be checking for your response in order to continue assisting you with this problem, Thank you,
Dan.

Hello, My rear passenger window will

is the window all the way down? there is two possibilities that I can think of, either there is a problem with the motor/wiring, or the window has some how come off its track, if that is the case you will need to open the door panel, inspect the mechanism that supports the window, if your lucky it will be as easy as putting in 2 rivets because the original ones have been dammaged, but if that was the case and you can still see the window you would beable to really easily pick it up and hold it in place just it would not stay up after you let go.

The window is unglued on the bottom and sides.

The dealer can fix virtually any problem with a late model car. But, if you use epoxy or trim adhesive, you may be able to do the repair yourself.

I once used 'gel' super glue to exactly meter and put glue where it belongs and get an instant bond on rubber to glass or rubber to metal bonding.

Right rear window goes part way up and then goes

The window will do this if it comes up against an obstruction. One of the window lifter guides could be broken causing the window to run skew. This would make it to tight in the runners and the motor would recognize this as an obstruction and wind the window down again. Have some one check the mechanism for damage.

I was driving my 2005 Volkswagen beetle, and I

Well, I think you were very wise not to drive it without the fluid. It is most likely either brake fluid from a busted lining. It is harder to brake because one of the ramifications is not in use (it's a security feature) so there is more pressure in the hydraulic system. If this is the case, it shouldn't amount to much.

When its just prior to red area for near empty gas

Gas guages are not reliable, if it acts like it is dying in the area you stated, you are probably out of gas. Don't let it get to that point. Always try to make sure you have at least 1/4 tank according to the guage.

The bulbs in my rear brakes keep blowing. Vauxhall Corsa

Make sure its the correct bulbs. Then you have to back probe the circuit to determine where the short is. If its not the correct bulbs issue, then I recommend you test the brake switch on the brake pedal before going any further with this diagnosis.
