The tumblers have wore down and won't let the key turn. At this point you need to have the tumbler set replaced.

No idea to be honest ,their is a fuel pump in the tank with a gauze filter on the bottom that much i can tell you but i dont know if their is a inline fuel filter or where it is if one is fitted .The main problem i see on here with american market cars is the fuel ,in the EEC eythenol is limited to 5% but in america it can be as much as 20% and this causes problems as this eythenol is hydroscopic which means it absorbs water vapour out of the air hence fuel filter block ups are more frequent than what i see here in spain .Never have much cause to change a petrol fuel filter here and the odd diesel but only when the customer specificaly asks for it .drain the water out the bottom if any yes but change a filter very rarely.

You need to have a scanner plugged in to see what error your computer has found. It may or may not be expensive or a major problem. Some of the chain auto parts stores will do a scan for free.

Is the temperature hot? Usually it means your overheating. Check coolant level. If it is good then get the thermostat and cooling fan checked.

Sounds like the alternator pully broke. If so then you need a new alternator.

It obviously isn't fixed so you should take it back as often as it takes until you receive proper value for the money you paid.

I had one gas door solenoid replaced under warranty. Since then I have just shot a bit of WD40 onto the post comng from the solenoid that holds the door closed. Do this at each oil change and the problems should stop.

hit a patch of snow. you ran over some snow or the car did a major jump in the air from hitting the snow? If the car had a major thrashing around then it could be any electrical connection that runs the engine .

There are 3 things required: fuel, spark and air.......is air filter blocked!
