If this vehicle has a distributor, try replacing the pickup coil. This should be located under your distributor cap and is responsible for spark. When your engine compartment gets warm from normal conditions, this plastic piece of **** shrinks and the metal tab attached to it doesn't make a good enough connection to conduct the electric spark to your plugs. I have a 2000 Mazda 121 metro with hold light flashing. It only comes on the first time I drive car each day, once I turn car off and start again after driving about 100 metres it goes away. If I don't turn car off it seems to not have proper power and is very very slow to pick up speed after stops ?? Pls help

What about fuel filter or fuel pump? Sounds like it is not getting the fuel through or is getting to much fuel Check choke not sticking and air filter clean etc. Regards Craig

Did you use an impact to change the water pump? If you did not and reversed the rotation of the engine you bent a valve stem. Dohc has this quirk

I know this question is old but I recently encountered a similar problem with my 1995 323 BA and this may help someone else. Override the immobilizer by doing the following:open the car via the drivers doorput the key in the ignitionturn the key to ACCnow turn the key to ONrepeat the last 2 steps X 12 quickly (ignore the indicators flashing and the central locking activating).the dashboard should be lighting up as normal.Now turn the key to START

Check the serpentine accessory drive belt and the drive belt pulleys for out of alignment issues. Also make sure the belt tensioner is functioning correctly.

check that he hazard button has not been pressed as some mazdas use a direction indicator to flash and the hazard just connects all 4 lights to flash together

is the engine management light on?

firing order is 1-3-4-2

First thing to do is check to see if the brake lights work, if they don't there is no power to the park lock out solenoid and the vehicle will not come out of park.

Brake switch, check and see if you have brake lights. If you have lights it is the wiring or solenoid at the shifter.

Tune up,wires,cap or coils.

you have a leak on your clutch master you need to replace probably the leak started small and now its worst

if you want to disable remove the fuse if you want to enable check the fuse

manual adjustment ? then 12th inlet and 15th exhaust will suffice

its located on the firewall under the hood on the passenger side in the area of were the firewall becomes the floorboard were it bends. its just a hose hanging from the firewall that the water is too drain out of. on some of these you can pull the hose off and clean the hose and using something you can dig out any debris from the fitting that enters the firewall. be care full though as the heater core is close to the inner area of were the water is to drain out of. then re-install the drain hose that you took off and your done.
