You have to see the dealer to have this updated.

How do I do an oil change for 2006 GMC Canyon?

Lift your GMC Canyon using a jack and set the truck on jack stands. If you don't have jack stands then use a set of wheel ramps. Make sure you brace the front tires so the truck doesn't roll. (safety first) Pop the hood and take off the oil filler cap and remove the dipstick. Gather an oil drip pan, cleaning cloths, new oil filter, and adjustable crescent wrench and then slide under the truck. Locate the oil drain plug and filter. Loosen and then remove the oil plug and pull it out quickly. Let the used oil drain for 10 to 15 minutes into the drip pan. Take off the filter using an oil filter wrench. Check the gasket and threads for damage and dump the extra oil into the drip pan. Clean off any excess oil and replace with new oil filter. Put the oil drain plug back in (tighten it) and slide out from underneath your truck. Add new oil (approx 5 quarts) inside the oil filler hole and replace the dipstick and then tighten the oil cap. Lower your truck and start the engine for a minute so that oil pressure builds up. After you are done with the oil change, turn the ignition key to "run" and then hit the gas pedal three times to reset the oil change light.

Hi, I'm trying to change

Is the piece you are referring to the piece that holds the brake pads? If so there should be two larger head bolts behind that piece that holds it on to the front axle.

My 2006 GMC, Canyon, 2seat engine lignt is on and will go off

I don't know about solenoid, what need's to be done, is go to any auto parts or some one like autozone where they can pull code's for free, then get back with us here at FixYa with the code number so we can help you with your trouble code, if a repair shop told you this, then have them give you the code number.

My 4 wheel drive drive shaft is loose and looks

You don't say if the front staft is loose at the transfer box or differential, but it is probably at the transfer box, if the vibration is throwing it into 4WD.

But it is probably just the bushing that is bad.
You can undo the ujoint clamp, remove the shaft, undo the nut holding the flange. Pull the flange out. Rent a puller to extract the bushing. Tap a new one in with a large socket or something round. Put in a new seal. Replace the flange, etc. Refill the gear oil. And you should be all set. Cost less then $20 probably. But do not delay. If you grind up the casing or inner shaft, then you will have to spend hundreds.

Truck wont crank each time

It sounds to me like that you have several different issues with you vech and on the pass lock system will not cause all the problems listed how ever it will cause the no crank and after five min or 30 min start it is most likely the pass lock sensor unless your truck has a pk3 system (the key will have a + or pk3 stamped on it)If it is a pk3 system then it may be the theft detturent module if ton a pk3 system then most likely a pass lock sensor . Take the vech to some one that can ck for codes and find out all the codes set in the vech. This will tell a whole lot about what is going on with the vech .Im not very good on drivabilty problems. The evap leak and the mis fire will not be related to the pass lock problem.

Can you get rid of the fuel pressure on a 2005 I5

No you cannot, however there is a fuel pressure test port under the hood.
The test port is located on the fuel supply line near the fuel injectors. This test port has a schrader style valve that operates like a valve stem on a car tire. Depress the center of the valve to release the pressure. Do this only on a cold engine and with eye protection on. It will spray 10 onces at best.
Good luck

GMC Canyon, computer shot.. cost?

You can to the Salvage Yard for a new computer, but your going to have to get it reprogram to your ignition keys, so the Passlock will start the engine. Before you go through all of that. recheck every thing, it could be your crank sensor or your ICM faulty causing your engine to shut down. Keep me posted and let me know what DTC codes you have. Note: a faulty fuel pump or dirty fuel filter will not set a DTC code. You may have a dirty fuel filter or faulty fuel pump or faulty fuel pump wire harness or fuel pump relay.
