Windshield wipers not working on 2005 Safari

Hello. It seems the 'voltage drop' can be due to a 'worn' multi-function switch. It's possible a windshield wiper motor relay is at fault. Good luck and keep me informed; if you want to.

No high fan any suggestions

possibly your blower motor reistat located in the hvac box and typically has four or five wires going to it. It is just a hard plastic like plate with wires in the middle and two screws holding it on. Check under the hood on the passengerside first.

2005 awd safari will not back up' it used to'at same time.. the abs lt came on. brake lt came onrt brake lt went out and radio quit

Need to have the codes read. You could have lost a ground wire. But this wouldn't cause a brake not to work.

2005 gmc safari heat oneday next day no heat

This could be a few things that could cause this problem...Do you always hear the blower motor run with or without heat..?..knowing this would help me answer your question...It could be the heat blend door inside Your HVAC system behind dash ..These doors can stick or break..The best thing you can do other than trying to troubleshoot everything ,guessing and getting a headache is take it to a dealer and let them scan the system...They can find the problem with or without a trouble code...It may cost $ 100,00 dollars to have it scanned however it will save you money in the long run...

Where are the ground wires for the ecbm gmc safari 2005

Diagnostic Test Code (DTC) C0265 is a POWER circuit code for the EBCM/Pump Motor Relay, not a ground code. This DTC sets when the voltage (B+) is too low at the EBCM when the solenoids and pump motor are commanded OFF. The voltage is supposed to be pulled low when the circuit is commanded ON. A ground problem with the EBCM is most likely to cause a failure of the EBCM to communicate with a scan tool. However, it doesn't hurt anything to check the ground. The main ground for the EBCM (G106) is located on the left rear of the engine near the knock sensor.

Break light stayed on after changing break pads GMC safari van

You may just need to have the code cleared. If you have a reader that will erase or reset dtc codes thats all it will take. some codes will reset just by doing a few drive cycles but other codes need to be cleared. There are a lot of places that will read or reset the codes for free if you don;t have a reader. That would also give you a chance to see if there are other problems such as brake pad sensors that are also part of the problem.

My heater will not turn to high in my 2005 GMC

I'm facing the same problem. I am part way finished replacing the motor. Here's what I know so far. Disconnect wiring for blower motor (located up against the firewall on the passenger side). Unbolt the front face from the fan housing (5 7mm bolts). Here's where I get stuck - remove the squirrel cage from the motor, there is some kind of a clip holding the cage onto the motor - how does it come off? Once it is off, replace the old motor with a new one and put things back together.

What type transmission fluid? Synthetic Max ATF by Royal Purple?

If it has been in a flood, change it. Water will eat the valve body and pump gaskets. Even if it has been changed once, you won't get it all. Changing it a second time is a good idea. Use Dexron VI

MOTOR TEMP STAYS AT 145, I BELIEVE I NEED TO CHANGE MY T-STAT

Top center behind the top pulley. Follow the upper radiator hose to where it connects to the engine. I've always called that piece that the hose connects to, the gooseneck. So you take the hose off, then you take the gooseneck off and there sits the thermostat. Make sure you scrape off the old gasket and replace it with a new one. Also, don't try to run your van without a thermostat, your gas mileage will drop off the charts. We used to do that back in the day before all the computer controlled stuff when I lived in Florida. If I've helpped you, please remember to rate me. Thanks.
