I have a 2004 GMC Canyon. I’m trying to program a new fob. It states remove the MALL or BCM Prgm fuse. I can’t find any diagram that labels a fuse as such. Does the 2004 Canyon have such a fuse? If so is it labeled something else? Any help appreciated. I’ve searched the manual & internet with no luck. Jmitch86

Your car's fob can't be programmed like that . Transmitter Programming Important: Up to 4 transmitters can be programmed. Do not operate or program the transmitters in the vicinity of other vehicles that are in the keyless entry program mode. This prevents the programming of the transmitters to the incorrect vehicle. The order in which the transmitters are programmed is important. The first transmitter programmed will be transmitter #1, and the second transmitter programmed will be transmitter #2. Use care to program the transmitters correctly. Important: All key fobs must be programmed each time any one fob is programmed. The scan tool must stay connected until all of the transmitters are programmed. Install a scan tool and navigate to the BCM Module Setup menu. Select Program Key Fobs. Follow the scan tool on-screen directions. When the programming operations have completed, operate the transmitter functions to verify correct system operation.

I have a 2004 Canyon. The blower is not blowing air on the driver's side front window. The dealership and taken everything apart and has said the last resort is a 8-9 hour tearing the whole thin

Could be something stuck in the vent. Check the vent passage way for a blockage. I wouldn't spend that kind of money if everything works good except the one vent. There has to be something blocking the air from coming out of the vent

Thermostat

hello, first thing to do is open the radiator cap (when cold) if you have one, other wise look in the recovery bottle and make sure that it is half full of coolant. if full, start the engine and let the engine warm up to normal temp the heater on and on max temp and max fan control. watch the temp gauge and make sure the temp goes to the normal operating area and does not overheat the engine. if temp is ok and you have heat that is hot as normal then everything is ok.if no heat and temp is to high then thermostat maybe bad? if engine temp is ok and no heat then you may have blockage in the heater core and or hoses

Is my 2004 GMC Canyon turn signal flasher a replaceable part?

hello, yes it is replaceable, it should be under the dash lower panel, but the fast blinking sounds like a bulb is not working or a bad connection, if you replace the flasher the you may want to make sure that you have the electronic version as they are more reliable. and the other thing is to make sure that you have a good ground in your wiring and that all the connections are dry, tight, and installed properly by color code

Higher than usual rpms in overdrive

It might not be in OD. Next time turn it off to see. If you can. Have the codes read. Check the air intake plenum. Make sure it is secure. MAF codes and loose plenums can keep the transmission out of OD.

Will a passlock bypass system work if my sterring column will not lock

The steering wheel lock is simply a physical lock that engages and disengages when you remove the key and turn the wheel. It has nothing to do with the electronic portion of the passkey system.. The transducer reads the chip in the key and sends the proper code to the vehicles pcm/bcm to start the car. The car is still electronically protected from someone trying to hot wire or start your car with the improper key. The steering lock is an additional level of security for the vehicle.

Passenger rear park lamp doesn't work.

Both park lamps should be powered by the same wire, so follow wire from non-working light until you find a break or bad connector.
