there is no reset for the light, the light is there for when your charging system is not working properly. you need to have your altinator checked, that will cause the battery light to come on

I am 99% sure it is the alternator. They are called throw away alternators because dealers are not supposed to rebuild them however I worked at a dealership for over 20 years and rebuilt 100's or more. If you know where an alternator/starter shop is, that would probably be the cheapest way to go instead of buying one.

find the resisters for the fan and change that part. it's generally located on the venting for the air under your dash... look near the fan.

fairly easy fix... pull out the old one and replace it. water sometimes leaks in or just plain old condensation and rusts it out.

It sounds like your key fobs need to be reprogrammed. There are two ways to do that. The first way is to go to the dealership and let them do. The second way is to manually do it. This should work. Get inside the truck and close the door. Apply the parking brake and cycle the key on and off four times. If it enters the program mode either the horn will sound or the door will lock and unlock or vise versa. Press and hold both the lock and unlock buttons at the same time. If the key fob reprograms, the locks will lock and unlock or vise versa. Turn the key off and try to lock and unlock the truck with the key fob. If it works then your good to go. Not sure where you live but if the gas you get has a higher amount of ethanol in it you will get worse gas milage.But there are many reasons that effect gas millage.

well honest it works with a lot of europeon cars ,especially the scourge of my life --RENAULT-- only have to look at these cars the wrong way and the immobiliser cuts in and its about 220 euros for the dealer to release them.if no power door locks then it will not work.Their must a be a mobile mechanic locally who could look at motor for you without paying dealer prices and becoming a golden egg layer.bit far for a call out for me ,iam in alicante spain ,sun sea beach and sangria ???only wish it was .

you can do anything if you put your mind to it,a big lumbering slow reving yank motor is difficult to kill anyway ,running it on hydrogen ,rape seed products or anything else shouldnt hurt it .we have biodiesel here in spain and biopetrol as well but we dont know it only the blenders in the refineries know what goes in so fit it and save some money on gas if its any cheaper,if it not then dont waste money buy a nice small diesel truck like a ford connect ,VW caddy

try locking and unlocking the doors three times slowly,this often works on cars with immobilisers,other than that try changing the fuel pump and putting a separate earth to one of the small connectors on the relay, check for power and earth the other ,this will by pass the alarm/cut out.If this is a bit beyond you then take to garage and become a golden egg donor.cant tell you where relays or anything else on this vehicle as i have never seen here in spain
