Where is the windsheild washer relay ?

front or rear? nice guess, huh? asking for something, never seen, or shown in the schematic? well i logged into alldata.com and there is no such thing. why not ask why, it does this an not guess. this car has a 1 wire wiper motors. that means all actions are the reults of this,,,,, windshield wiper control module , WWCM? so it its bad. or its inputs are wrong. (logic) there are only 2 inputs from the Multifucition switch if they are wrong, the wiper will fail if they are correct then the WWCM is bad.

Why wont my ABS light on the dash wont turn off

the ABS light doesn't come on because u need a brake job, it comes on when it senses a failed part like a wheel speed sensor, in order to determine exactly what part is keeping the light on and disabling the Antilock Brakes you will need a shop to scan the systems comuter for fault codes

'96 jimmy's horn wont sound. Relays and fuses are ok and there doesn't seem to be anything wrong w/ the actual horns. Could this be related to a connection in the steering column or a small box locate

Are you sure the horns are ok? They are a pain to get at, but you should try a + jumper from your battery to a horn to make sure as they do tend to plug up with road crap. While you have the connector off a horn, you should also check the voltage with someone pushing the horn button. If both checks are successful, replace the horn relay.

Evap canister

The canister is located in a frame behind the left rear wheel, and you will need wrenches, a socket set, and a jack to raise the back of the truck. Carefully remove the hoses from the canister - if you damage the quick connects, you will have a big problem. Then remove the canister frame by removing the bolts holding it (remove the screws holding the left rear plastic wheel well to get access to the front of the canister frame). Remove the old canister from the frame, attach the new canister, and then reinstall the frame. If you are having a problem with the EVAP system, you should also check the hoses and replace the EVAP purge valve and the EVAP solenoid valve ( typical failure points on these vehicles - if you have a problem with one component, the rest will follow shortly after). The purge valve is located on the bottom of the vehicle near the center of the rear axle (just follow the small purge hose attached to the canister). The vent valve is located on the top right side on the engine. All parts are available from Amazon or a GM dealer.

I have no power to the heater control unit on a 1998 GMC Jimmy. I checked the fuse and its fine. What else could it be?

Let's try and tackle the first problem; the heater. Go ahead and buy a new thermostat just in case because it is only about $12. More than likely, your heating core is clogged up and not letting the Dexcool run through. So what you need to do is flush out the heating core. Disconnect the 'in' and 'out' hoses from the side NOT attached to the firewall. Drain the Dexcool out into a bucket. Once it stops flowing, throw some compressed air into the line (You may need to use a rubber fitting or electrical tape to get a tight seal between the line and the air tool). If there is not too much stuff that comes out, throw a little water into the line and then blow it out with the compressed air again. Note that you want to not stand in front of the end of the line... it will come out quick! Once you have cleaned out the heating core, reconnect the hoses and top off the radiator. You will need to manually pump the radiator hose to circulate the coolant and push out the air.
