1996 GMC Sonoma - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
I have a 1996 gmc Sonoma. Headlights will work sometimes.
Consider the dimmer switch on the steering wheel; the wires from it wouldn't affect the tail lights, but could possibly affect the headlights. Hopefully loose wires from the assy is the problem.. replacing the unit might be difficult. or expensive.

How to bleed brakes on a 96 GMC Sonoma
YOU WILL NEED ANOTHER PERSON THAT CAN UNDERSTAND ABOUT HOLDING THE PEDAL DOWN!
Begin by bleeding the system at the right rear wheel, then the left rear, right front and left front. Open one bleed screw at a time 1/2 to 1 full turn. Slowly depress the brake pedal until it reaches its full travel and HOLD THE BRAKE PEDAL DOWN UNTIL BLEED SCREW IS TIGHTENED, IF YOU LET OFF THE BRAKE PEDAL WITH THE BLEEDER SCREW OPEN IT WILL SUCK AIR BACK IN THE LINE. repeat until all air is out of each line, INPORTANT MAKE SURE THERE'S BRAKE FLUID IN THE MASTER CYLINDER, IT WILL GO LOW WHILE BLEEDING BRAKES, IF IT GOES EMPTY YOU WILL SUCK AIR AND YOU'LL HAVE TO START ALL OVER

How do you take out the bench seat?
Normally these are bolted down to the body and you can remove them from the rail and release the seat. You will need a set of socket spanners.
