Why won't the drivers window go down but the other three windows do

Sounds like your motor is broken. I am assuming you are talking about electric windows. It could be the cables are broke or binding but if the cables were broke then usually the window would fall down to it's resting position.

Why won't drivers window go down but the other 3 windows do

3 reasons ,any volt meter finds why, any. 1: bad motor 2: bad switch 3: window jammed. got meter, if not it all just a guess. you could unplug the motor and hot wire it to see if it works, killing off guess 2.

How do i replace idle control valve 96 jimmy

The Idle Air Control (IAC) valve is located on the side of the throttle body. Although it is physically easy to replace it, you must use an exact replacement (OEM is best) based on your engine, and there is a detailed procedure to set the valve pintle properly and initialize the valve. It is easy to screw up this installation with bad results, but if you think you can manage it, let me know and I will forward the procedure.

Brake light's don't work

Check the fuse first. Then check the brake switch (under the dash near the top of the brake pedal arm). The switch may have failed (stuck open), or is just not making proper contact with the pedal arm.

Tail lights stay on.

Sounds like you have wires crossed, shorting together, or incorrectly connected, probably at the hitch connector. To verify this, you will need to open up the connector and check each wire individually, and to do this properly, you are going to need the wiring schematic for the brake control, the truck and the connector. Fixing this is usually beyond the scope of most DIYers, so my suggestion is take it to a hitch shop. If you want to try fixing it yourself, check other internet sites for instructions.

Timing mark on pully

the timing marks are on the timing cover housing at the top of the crankshaft or just slightly to the right . They are a series of raised marks going from TDC to 5-10 degrees advanced (BTDC)or 5-10 degrees retarded ATDC. The timing mark is a small groove in the inner flange of the pulley. Slowly turn the crank until you see/feel it . For better observations with the light paint the groove with white paint.

How do i clean maf sensor and throttle body

Autozone, carquest ect. sell MAF sensor cleaner. Do not touch the sensor because it will most likely break. Pull the throttle body off and spray it down with the MAF cleaner. Brake cleaner is supposed to work but cannot verify that in all vehicles and sometimes carb clean will work depending on the vehicle.

Number one missing

Sometimes plugs break. If money is an issue, swap the plug to another cylinder to see if the problem follows it. Otherwise, you may have a stuck intake (or possibly exhaust) valve.

What is the cause of the air bag light being on

When the airbag light, or SRS, light comes on it means that the airbag controller has detected a problem with something in the airbag system and has disabled the airbags. Usually this is due to a problem with and impact sensor on the vehicle. You'll need to take it to a shop and have it diagnosed and you should do so quickly because as long as that light is on, your airbags WILL NOT DEPLOY! Good luck.
