After changing the IAC valve, my 03 Escape still takes too long to idle down, what else could it be?

Use brake clean and a toothbrush. Clean the inside of the throttle body as far as you can. Also clean the back of the throttle plate and where it seats. Pull the mass air flow sensor and spray it down thoroughly. Front and back. Don't use the brush on it. You can break it. Reassemble it and remove the top part of the air filter. Start the engine, it will take a second or two to start. The rev it up and spray the brake clean the the breather top. You don't have to use all the brake clean. This will help with the high RPM's. PS.. replace the air filter if it is ditry.

I changed my ignition on a 2003 ford escape and

This may or may not work: Unhook negative battery cable for 15 minutes. Re attach and try. This resets the processor. Engine will run funky for 10 miles or so if it works.

2003 ford escape will not go in reverse

Check you transmission fluid level first. It could be a linkage, electrical problem but will likely require someone to actually see the vehicle to diagnose it properly.

The reverse sensor system on my 03 Escape not working, what can be the cause?

Since the reverse sensors are located, usually, in the rear bumper, there could dirt covering the sensors, the wiring harness could be corroded, a wire could be severed or a loose connection. Also check your fuse panel for any burnt fuses or relays

My 2003 Ford Escape has started running rough/seems to be missing at idle

complicated problem if im not seeing the viehical my first guess is on the intake manifold you have o rings sealing it to the heads these leak causing a vacume problem .about 500 dollar fix mostley labour. next map sensor even a loose gas cap can cause this .so you are going to have to go and get a code reader finds a code then post the code or go to the ford dealer .don't do the o rings your self the little nuts are held in by plastic if you strip one you have wasted your time and money and will need the dealer any ways. they have to glue them in wait for drying time ect gets pricey . torque on the bolts is like 22 to 28 ft lbs .< check that.

How do i get the cv joint off the trans 2003 ford escape

The shaft end inside the transmission should only be held in place by a circular spring clip in a recess at the end of the spline shaft. Even prying pressure on BOTH sides of the housing against transmission should release it.
