If your 4 way emergency flasher is on the steering column, pushing it in and out of Emergency flash may realign the points. Assuming the headlight portion is why you want to do this, it has its own points. Problem with NOT removing switch is permanently damaging vehicle interior with sprays, flying parts and mess in general. The process is removing the hidden fasteners, having security tips for fastener heads, and unplugging wiring harness without breaking latches.

Should be able to find a mechanic do it for you cheaper.

Take the positive lead off the battery and let it sit for about a half hour to an hour before attaching it again. Make sure the fuel shut off switch is not turned off. Its located in the passenger side foot well area on the kick panel.

Have you checked the transmission fluid level? Sometimes when they are low on fluid they will make a whining noise. Also, are you sure that it is the transmission? Could it be the power steering pump? Fords are notorious for having noisy power steering pumps, at least on older vehicles.

If it isn't making noise, check the electrical connection. If its getting power it could be that the motor needs to be replaced.If it just hums when you try to operate it, the motor is either jammed or needs to be replaced.

If the motor is making noise but not moving, the motor probably needs to be replaced.

Check the fuses first. then replace the turn signal switch if all fuses are good. All the lights run threw it, except the high brake light on the rear.

the part that you describe is the wheel alignment adjuster. If you have described it properly it will have 4 studs ,be in a rubber mount and have a bearing inside it and sits on top of the insert up in the inner guard. It should be allowed to spin freely when out of the vehicle. If it didn't then the bearing is probably faulty. That part is a replacement part and when faulty contributes to hard steering

Remove shields and main centre bar , use heat or have to cut bolts and replace them , replace all 4 engine and transmission mount as one goes all goes . Get original parts as the rubber on other ones will not hold and has to be replaced very soon again , especiallly with sport driving conditions . A mufler shoppe is best for this work .

It sounds like the vehicle has had some sort of trauma to it to cause that to bend, I would take it to a service centre and get a visual done on it mate if its bent as you have stated then it will need to be replaced, As for the grinding you can here when applying the brakes this would appear to be the wear plate on the disk pads that is put there to let you know that they need to be replaced also the rotars will need to be shimmed as well at the same time Good luck and keep safe

just buy the whole control arm assembly , only $80. it will have a new ball joint and the two other rubber bushings installed. you just jack the car up by the frame until the strut is fully extended. loosen the ball joint clamp bolt and a couple of hits with a sledge will free it from the hub, The other two bolts to the body will be tough but they will free up with a johnson bar or an impact driver. the big one is a 25mm most folks wont have it in their tool box. use a jack safety stand to hold the car up and have the parking brake on, as you will need the jack later to raise the lower control arm new ball joint back into the hub, a good mechanic will be done this in 15 minutes. you will probably not even need an alignment.

You probably can't see it from above. Its behind the ac compressor on the lower side of the engine.

Some u/js cant be replaced by home mech because the caps are staked into the shaft assembly could require machine shop for a job like this. maybe a good second hand one might be cheaper alternative. Hope this helps you.

If one side works the flasher unit is ok it could be bulbs, a bad connection or a fault with the indicator switch

The carbon has to be cleaned out often as a build up will hold the valve open and exhaust gas will melt the housing.
