I have a 2003 Ford
It might be the rack and pinion kit (seals)
I had this problem 2 months ago... replaced the powersteering pump 3 times until I convinced the mechanics to look at the rack and pinion. there they found the leak, especially when I turned the wheel.. They first kept telling me there was air in the lines and it would go away. but that never happened.
How to change transmission fluid
There is a drain plug on the tranmission pan on the 2003 Ford Escape. Unscrew it to drain the fluid, put the plug back, and then refill the fluid through the dipstick under the hood. Capacity is listed as 10.1 quarts, but eye how much comes out. You might want to change the fluid, drive it for a bit, and then do it again to get as much gunk out as possible. I would recommend reading through this forum topic, it has a lot of good information.

Changed the water pump and now it over heats
Many people overlook the cooling system pressure cap cheap to replace but often overlooked , the radiator may also be internally restricted. Rad shop would be able to confirm if this is the case. rad cleanout and engine block flush may help. Hopefully this is useful to you.
Wiper motor wont run
motor burned up, but it should have blown the fuse, i suggest unsticking your wipers, rechecking your fuses, check for a realy, or your wiper switch is toast.
Front-end shake above 70 that gets worse.
Hi,its possible for the inner wheele bearing has broke down, just rase the wheele off the floor hold the wheele one hand at 12oclock and the other hand at 6oclock and push at the top and at the same time pull the bottom, and push and pull to see if you can feel eney playif no play thats good then spine the wheele it should spin freely(that shows that the wheele bearing is ok if it spins freely and no play it will also show you if there is eney ply in the top and bottom balljoints).
to check the trake rod end you do the same as before with the wheele but this time you hold your left hand at 9oclock and right hand at 3oclock and again push and pull this time you are feeling for movement on the right hand side(which would be trackrod end)no movement great.
I would do this on other side as well, then if every thing seems fine you will have to take it in to some where to have the traking done(wheele inlinement)but make shore that you check for worn parts first before you get traking done ,as if you replace a part you might have to get the traking done again.
Hope this was some help, all the best.
