Someone would need to check the circuits to find the short to ground or a component that is using power. We usually start with the alternator and check the major components first.

If you are going to do it yourself make sure you have good lighting, surgical tools, a mirror tool, more than one flex adapter or swivel adapters, magnet tools, and the ability to connect the socket without seeing but feeling, a chin rest cushion for the fatigue since you will have to lay on the engine with your arms burried and no place to put your head, extra little bolts if possible there are only 2, and an assistant so you don't lose your bearings on the install if you have to move it will take you 10 times longer. The sensor is like on top of the center of the engine about a foot inward from the windshield edge, this is a difficult diy but I did it so you can be prepared and have no interruptions or you will have a frustrating lengthy install, I hope I helped.

You are having Oxygen sensor problems, have the truck scanned while the light is on to confirm this or just save the diagnostic fee and replace them yourself. Good luck!!

You need a code scanner to read the codes. Go to autozone or O'Riellys and ask them for a curtesy scan. Then go from there.

I would think that you have a spark problem. There is an Ignition Relay or ECC Relay. Your need to know certain Pin connectors to test the functions of the Crankshaft sensor and Camshaft sensors.You may have a "check engine" light showing on the dash and it is not apparent because the dash lights have not cycled off with a no start condition. You may be able to scan the truck for a diagnosis.While you may have fuel pressure at the test port, your injectors may not be opening. But since you used starting fluid to no avail, most likely you lack spark.Your truck should have an ECC or Ignition Relay and perhaps an ECC diode. These parts provide power to the other components of the spark system. The secondary parts like Crankshaft sensors, the Camshaft sensors, and others use the power from these Relays.You can satisfy yourself about fuel pressure by checking pressure at the test port, but spark seems to be your issue.Please comment on my info.

ign switch out of adj. or bad. other posibility rack,rake,rod all same thing just different names is broke.

did you check/replace your flasher?

Is battery fully charged? Sounds like you don't have enough juice.

What control board do you refer to, the engine control module? If yes then the answer is yes this module can be programmed with the proper tool.

replace it with an original my friend as after market stuff never last long or just do not work period
