A/c does not work started car attached a dc/volt
before voltage gets to the a/c it goes thru a relay and the high and low pressure switches. and not sure for the year but it can also go thru the computer. one other thing you could just be low on freon check this first
Fuel pump shorting out will not start
Did you tape a fuel pressure gauge to the windshield,to see if your really loosing fuel, when it quits.
Did you consider the MAF sensor,TPS Sensor.
The pump won't run if it isn't needed. If the PCM doesn't see a crank signal or other data it needs,it won't keep the pump going.
You may be working on the symptom, not the cause.
Can not dissengage the fuel lines from sending unit
Real simple-If you have a plastic looking tab ,you push line on tight and push on tab toward fitting. Do not try to pry it away or off, with a screw driver or it breaks
If you have what I think your trying to remove, it is called a Spring Lock Coupling
You go to Auto Parts Store and tell them what size the fitting is,and buy the removal tool.
It opens and wraps around the coupling, then you squeeze together and pull hoses apart.
Had oil change, tune up, freeze plug done, water
1st off, mods are tricky. You put lifters on there. You need to check with the manufacturer to see what their specs are for installation. Lift Kits have to be "tuned up" from time to time. It's not just a wham bam thank you ma'am type of installation. You have to keep servicing them every so often. I would check with the place that installed them to see if they have a maintenance deal on the lift kit service. But better yet, lift kits on Crown Vics are not really a smart thing to put on. They really can cause a downhill spiral of problems once you do have it. But, you put them on for a wow effect I'm guessing, so just get them serviced, or put it on a rack so you can service them yourself. But check the forums for your kit for a how-to. Good Luck
