Oil pressure gauge fluctuates from high to low.

Hi. This will indicate that there may be some sludge build up in the block, or the oil pressure switch may be damaged. The more serious issue will be a failing oil pump. To isolate the issue, simply, have a oil pressure test ran on this engine. If the test indicates that the true oil pressure is optimal at idle, kindly replace the oil pressure switch. Now, if the test proves that the pressure is indeed lower than factory specifications, this will confirm that the pump is damaged. Have the pump, and oil pump screen replaced, in this case.

NOTE_ I would, also, recommend to have the engine flushed asap.

Installed a fuel pump in

Is there power to the pump? Have you checked the relay? Is there fuel pressure regulator working? If not, it won't provide the efficient amount of fuel pressure. Replacing the fuel filter is a good idea as well.

How many horns are on a 1995 crown victoria? how do i get to them?

Probably have two, as in most cars. They should be bolted to frame somewhere around the front, and close together. Often they are hidden from view, behind grill, naybe under some cover like in front of wheel well. Do you have one working? Toot it, and maybe it will tell you where they are.Good luck.

Have error code po 171 system to lean.what is the

P0171 - System Too Lean (Bank 1)
This means that an oxygen sensor in bank 1 detected a lean condition (too much oxygen in the exhaust). On V6/V8/V10 engines, Bank 1 is the side of the engine that has cylinder #1.

Note: This DTC is very similar to P0174, and in fact your vehicle may show both codes at the same time.

You will more than likely not notice any drivability problems, although there may be symptoms such as a lack of power, detonation (spark knock), and/or a hesitation/surge on acceleration.

A code P0171 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
* The MAF (Mass Air Flow) Sensor is dirty or faulty. Note: The use of "oiled" air filters may cause the MAF to become dirty if the filter is over-oiled. There is also an issue with some vehicles where the MAF sensors leak the silicone potting material used to protect the circuitry.
* There could be a vacuum leak downstream of the MAF sensor.

Hope this helps. Your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Thank you for using Fixya, and have a nice day

Lost lug nut key

If you lost the key to a locking lug nut, most tire shops can remove them for a small fee. There is a tool that you can buy to do it yourself. It should be availoable at most auto parts stores or tool supply stores. I have also used "impact" sockets that I have forced over the lug with a sledge hammer.

Check Engine Light On - I replaced EGR valve, EGR

It sounds like a very large vacuum leak..Check hoses around the engine compartment,,and listen for hissing sounds..If nothing found you might have a stuck idle air control...If its drivable take it to autozone...they will scann it for free,,and get the codes out...The EGR system should have anything to do with the 1400 RPM problem...Dont buy anymore parts until you check for leaks and get the codes...And if you get several codes,,dont let them sell you a bunch of parts for all the different codes..Sometimes you can have one problem,,but it can send up several codes...Get the codes and repost what they are
