if it sounds kind of grinding the regulator is bad, it is cable driven and
whenit goes bad the window wont move but the motor still runs

try the bulbs

Are you saying you now have non fuel injected motor with a distributor. Whats going to matter here is the computer and whether or not you swapped it out also. To be able to give any advise one would need to know the year of the engine to know the specs.

Have the vehicle's ECU scanned for codes anyway. Then listen to what your tech has to say about the code it showed.

probably from underneith. the back side may be a pain in the rump

Will be coming from either bad freeze plug(s) [most likely], a heater hose that is dripping so that it is running off the back side of the engine, or a leaking intake manifold that is located such that it is running off the back side.

Replace the cluster, Its a faulty unit

Behind the A/C compressor. You don't have to remove the lines from the compressor but you have to unbolt the compressor to remove the sensor.

There are two screws under the steering wheel that are attached to the shifter. take a look under there and move the shifter and you will be able to see the part that im talking about. there are two star head screws on a plate that keep everything moving smoothly. If they are loose this may be your problem.

Yes it is. They will need to be drilled out. Thats the best way, some people try to put bolts on, but I dont advise it.

The light switch, relay or circuit is shorted .
Remove the switch from its connector and observe what happens.If lights go off you have your answer.
If not then test relay or circuit(s)for shorts.

The brake booster may be leaking. Does it sound like an air leak down by the pedal when it is applied. This would indcate the booster needs replacing

Why would you add fluid?
As the front pads wear,the fluid will go down, not an issue
If you keep opening the fluid resevoir,you will let moisture in.
