I recently took my car into garage to have the wheel bearing done and breaks blead all round for mot it was fine and passed but since driving away the is a loud noise coming from drivers wheel any ide

IF IT IS ONLY THE NOISE WHILE DRIVING BREAKING IS ALL OK I WOULD SUGGEST THAT YOU HAVE THE DISC PADS CHECKED FOR WEAR OFF OR THE STRIP SPRING PLATE THAT GRIPS THE DICS PADS ARE NOT SEATED PROPERLY WHICH WILL GIVE NOISE WHILE YOU DRIVE IN UNEVEN ROAD.JUST PUT THE CAR ON JACK, BEFORE REMOVING THE WHEEL TURN THE WHEEL AND CHECK IF THERE IS ANY PLAY SIDE WISE OR IF IT SOUNDS THEN THE BEARING IS THE PROBLEM IF NOT THEN REMOVE THE WHEEL THEN YOU CAN SEE THE BRAKE PADS, TRY THE TAP IT WITH LIGHT PIECE OF WOOD IF IT GIVES THE NOISE THEN YOU CAN SEE THE THE PRING THAT HOLDS THE PADS ARE NOT PROPERLY HOLDING.IF YOU STILL COULS NOT FIND THE PROBLEM SUGGEST YOU HAVE IT CHECKED FOR ANY BROKEN PARTS WHICH COULD BE DANGEROUS TO CONTINUE DRIVING

My 2000 vw golf has epc light on and also drained the battery

Hi there:EPC stands for Electronic Power Control. this means that your vehicle has a fly-bywire system, whish means that there's No accelerator cable and the throtle body is controled by the ECM (Engine Control Module). If your EPC light comes on there will be a fault code stored in the ECM, any generic scan tool will give a Pxxx code, note it and send us for other details.Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.Thank you for using FixYa, have a nice day.

When I unlock my 2002 vw golf all the electric

.Just to be sure, do you know that when you insert your key into either the driver or passenger (front) doors, and turn the key over to the far LEFT (in the process of unlocking the door), and hold the key in that position for more than a second or so, your windows will all roll down?? This is supposed to happen - it is a benefit of owning a VW! It is all described in the owner's manual. Now the other side of this function, is that if when you get out of the car, and any of the windows are left open (including the sunroof if you have one), inserting your key and turning it over to the far RIGHT (in the process of locking the car), and once holding it there for more for a second or so, will then close all the windows for you. This opening and closing process will only continue for as long you hold the key turned over in the extreme position in either direction. Once you return the key to the center position, the opening and closing will stop. So you just hold it there until the windows are all closed. This option is not available via your keyless remote though - only via the key in the door locks. It's something I love about the VW design - you can choose to let fresh air into the car before getting in without having to insert your key into the ignition and on the other side, if a window (or the sunroof) is accidentally left open when you've exited the car, you now have the option to close them all without once again inserting your key into ignition and turning it over.

The servo unit on the steering has failed . Look inside the engine bay for oil leaks - if none are present then the entire steering rack will have to be replaced - the internal seals have failed.
