If all of your lights are working (high, low beam, tail lights etc) u may have an electrical short in the headlight switch circuit or a bad headlight switch

Sounds like the flasher relay is stuck. Try replacing that first.

In 89 pontiac grand am you actually have to pry Orem open the panel containing the gear shift lever and indicators p r n d l etc then you can undo the bolts at the bottom of the radio panel then take the radio panel off

Follow the air cleaner ducting to the engine, you will see a cover over the throttle body. Remove the cover and the MAP sensor is small, black and rectangular. It will have a 3 wire connector and one short black vacuum hose attached to it. Good luck,

Find a real dark spot, on a real dark nite. Raise the hood and check the plug wires for any spark jumping. Also check all the vacuum hoses, fittings, pcv valve.
