flush transmission thoroughly and use additive, worked on my 98 pathfinder been 1 year still o.k.
Why my tail lights do not go off when I shut off the engine.
Your tail lights or your brake lights?
check your light switch is in the off position.
otherwise I would suspect that the brake switch which is above the brake pedal under the dash has done it's dash (broken..pardon the pun)
to test this theory, yank off one of the wires or the plug that connects to this switch. No lights at the rear..it's the switch.
unscrew and replace switch....
Why my rear driver side window does not go up or down
Fuse blown, switch stuffed, control module in door fritzed, window motor brushes worn out.
please get back to us with your solution so we can help others in the future.
PS other Nissan motors can be slipped in from other Nissan models to fix a motor problem....and much cheaper..and if you go to a wrecker, make sure you get the correct motor for the correct side, yes Martha, the motors are Right side only, and Left side only, but the same same front and rear on that partcular side.
Refer to the serial numbers on the motors, get one that ends in the same number.......
What is the process of a transmission linkage repair
It depends on what damage has been done to the linkage. If it moves when it shouldn't, or doesn't move when it should, it will need replacement or lubrication or tightening or loosening.
Could you get back to us with your solution to the problem as this may help someone else in the future? Thanks.
How to replace the brake light swith
The brake light switch is most likely sticking. If you tap it with you finger it will most likely operate again. However, I would recommend replacing it. MOst switches are held in place with a nut on the back side of the switch that must be loosened for removal. Others sre held in place by a bushing that will require gentle pull or a twist and pull to remove
How to replace brake light switch
Disconnect electrical connector and remove switch. Some switches have a nut on the back side that needs to be loosened for removal and some are slightly pressed into a bushing that can be removed with a gentle pull. Upon installing new switch, make sure it is inserted.adjusted properly for brake light function
