check that the bottom half of the timing chain cover isn't too tight, or the seals and gaskets are good and stuck, make sure you have a couple oilpan bolts threaded loosely enough to allow the oilpan to move but threaded enough to hold the oilpan up, hit the bottom of the oilpan to knock it loose

battery died somehow in two days - More then likely your vehicle has what is call a parasitic drain on the electrical system (battery) . Something is not turning off when it is suppose to . The key will not come out because of lack of battery power . Safety system-won't let the key be turned all the way off an removed again because of no power . You have to get it jump started an get it off the street . Then check out vides on youtube on find parasitic draw .

try cahnging the relays under the hood those are the square black fuses in the fuse box

This could be a blockage in the carburator,try to clean it, especially the valves. There is a specific spray for the job on the market. You might need to dismantle it.

Likely either a shifter position sensor, transmission position sensor, or a differential position sensor. Had same issue w/ my Montero and it ended up being one of the 5 sensors on the transfer case. It was pretty tough to get to, so replaced all 5. That fixed it.
