Vent selector stuck on defrost (knob turns - no

There's a good possibilty that you have a vacuum line off. When the heater controls lose vacuum, the heater will go into the defrost mode. There should be a small line, about 1/8 inch in diameter, that goes from the engine to the firewall. It's most likely on the passenger side.

How to remove a driverside power window switch on a 2000 safari

The switch should pop out of the door panel using a flat screwdriver in on cluster that holds all the window switches. Thenyou can rmove the switch you want easily. Just be gentle when prying the cluster out of the door, and the switch out of the clusteras not to damage the holding clips.

1997 Safari. A month ago,

You may have a hose to the heater leaking, or a lower intake gasket leaking. You will have to remove the engine cover to get a good look. If you have access to a cooling system pressure tester, it would realy help out.
Good hunting!

Rear door will not unlock

You probabbly have a defective latch mechanism. You will need to pull the rear seats out to get room so you can take the panel off of the rear door and get access to the latch mechanism so it can be opened/fixed.

Where is oxygen sensor located?

You have more than one on your vehicle. I posted a picture below of all the locations. It depends on what code you are getting to lead you to the correct one but there are tests as well. The most common ones to go are the upstream or bank 1 sensors as they are closer to the engine and get the most of the fuel out the exhaust to give you your readings and tell the computer how rich or lean to burn your fuel I hope this helps.11_11_2011_1_08_31_am.jpg11_11_2011_1_08_53_am.jpg
