If you cannot change the gears when the engine is not running, then you probably have an internal transmission problem. Could be input shaft or cluster gear assembly

if the blue light does not show up on the gauges then most likely its a bad switch. check to see if it still clicks, if not see if there is anything abstructing it, if not then replace switch, providing all your fuses are good like you mentioned.

You are the MAN, Just like you said TRocky, there was a short in the center brake light wiring. Found the short in the rubber boot that connects from the lift gate to the car. Inside that rubber boot the wires were cracked and some were shorting.Repaired the wiring and everything is back to normal.

does the glow plug/coil light flash at all???? once would indicate glow plug relay fault! three times would indicate FUEL pump failure! sorry never experienced two flashes....

Sounds to me like you need to take a trip to your local certified mechanic!

Maybe you need a new fob.

Idle air control valve

Usually, you can loosen the wire spring by moving it to different sides (up/down/left/right). It may be up and then left for example. When you put it back in, you move in the reverse sequence, for example, right and then down.

It may just be the wires are not making contact. Thats why it works when you bang on it.

Driver door module is where to look also a broken or corroded wire and if you use your key to punch in the door code then the key pad has a hole in it or it just went bad it's not the remote control also check the master door lock switch for corrosion at the pins and the plugs same with the driver door module

Use the drum puller and tap the back side of the drum from with a hammer, and keep tightening the puller. It will come off if you have the security screw's out. The reason it's hard to pull off is BC the brakes are grabbing the drum

The code U1262 point out a communication fault between the vehicle modules and a scanner. It may be best to visit your local dealer to find if one of the vehicles control modules has failed. In some cases this can be as simple as a blown fuse, but there is always a reason for a fuse to blow and a oil sending circuit fail. would need to be tested. P1000 DTC code is a manufacturer specific trouble code. your code reader is not reading or communicating correctly you will need to check the fuses for all the modules and check the connections on the plugs and the units to check the modules to see if they have good contact. also check the main earth from the battery to the shell and make sure the contact is good.

See the rectangle with the word radiator, it should be there.

Could be the struts but more likely a worn out torsion bar link. Have them checked for play. They are not expensive.

When you brought the dog guard on the box it should tell you the make and models of the cars it will fit . Ford won't help you as thay want you to buy from them , what I can say is if the dog guard says it will fit to your car it will fit it without any special tools , if car car make and model are not on the box take it back and find one that fits your car or a universal one that fits most cars good luck colin

Low voltage to solenoid. Try cleaning your bat cables ends inside where they attach to battery , if you're sure battery is good. terms should be shiny where they touch battery terms.

Replace the switch on the brake pedal,fit new globes replace fuse.

Ford's are notorious for electrical 'ghosts'.
If the fuses are all fine.. and the motors for the windows and the light bulb for the dome light are good... probably not much that can be done unless you want to give it to the dealer for diagnosis and repair, but they'll probably tell you they can't find the problem.

If you have drum brakes in the back, they need adjusted out. If you didn't replace the drum you need to at least grind down the lip of rust at the edge of it. then adjust them.
