It may be that your TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) is bad or dirty. Try cleaning it, and if that doesn't work, then replace it. It goes for about $45, but if you take it to the stealership they'll run you over $200.
I had the same problem and got it fixed. Takes a couple of minutes.

power window on XC90 wont stay up on 'auto-up'??

Have a 2004 Volvo XC90. The front windows have the one touch feature for all the way up and down. Passenger window works fine and on the auto-down, the drivers one works too. However, if i operate one touch to take the driver's window up, it goes up but as it closes, it then automatically takes the window to the full open position?? Anyone have any ideas...is it switch?

Put the window down all the way and then hold the switch up, hold it until the window closes all the way up, and continue to hold it for about 10 sec. after the window is closed. Try this a few times, but if this does not work you will will probably have to take it to the dealer. They will have to do this for you with the Volvo computer scanner, this is covered under warranty if you are still with in by millage if not they will charge around 50 dollars.

I got codes, p0172 and p0174 (mustang gt 4.6L)

I got codes, p0172 and p0174 (system too lean and rich). I got new spark plug and wires. I tried cleaning out the MAF sensor, but don't know if I have to replace it.

When these codes are tried together it usually means O2 sensors are going bad. I suggest you get a real scanner on it before you spend $$$$$

There could be two fuses that service the radio; one identified as 'Accessories' in the main fuse box and possibly a second in-line fuse inserted in the 12V line and under the dashboard.

My 2006 Ford Mustang's factory alarm goes off when

My 2006 Ford Mustang's factory alarm goes off when I try to start the engine. About 4 weeks prior to this, I had trouble starting the car on the first try (like the battery was weak). After that, no issues until I go unlock my car with the remote & turn the key in the ignition yesterday! Alarm goes off/horn blows/lights flash/radio-cd comes on. All this noise yet no engine can be started!!! What's the problem? Could it be as simple as replacing this older battery?
