Where is the bleeder valve located to bleed any trapped air from getting to the matrix? Why would I not be getting hot air to any of the vents?
Not sure if there is a bleeder valve on these. Not giving a description of what was going on makes it difficult. You may have a plugged heater core. Maybe low coolant. Sometimes it needs to be bled off with a vaccuum drawing the coolant through the heater core. Part of the problem is with these the heater core is higher than the cooling system so the coolant doesnt natrually flow into it, it takes some type of external force to make it go in. I have had luck getting the nose of the car up on car ramps to get the core lower and its naturally started flowing. That is if there is not an obstruction preventing it from doing so.

Help with Security Light/Alarm chime Issue
The body control module gets wet under the right side of the dash. From the right floor board you can remove a plastic cover to reveal the module. By disconnecting it you will probably find a lot of green corrosion around the connector going into it. Replace the module and the connector. Some programming is necessary, so be sure to read a service manual first. Also, there is a technical service bulletin regarding the issue that involves sealing the cowl vent near the hood where air gets in for the heater. This will prevent the problem from happening again.
