Couldn't find it listed at Walmart but Interstate Batteries had one. It was $170. As far as jumping there are jumper post under the hood. Should have labels and positive should have red cap over the post. Ground should have a couple of big black wires going to it on the fender on right side under hood.

When turning the steering wheel it makes a clunking sound 2004 Pontiac any help??

Probably a bad intermediate shaft. There is a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) published by GM because of this condition.TSB Reference Number 06-02-35-010Date Of Issue: May 09 2006This bulletin involves replacing the intermediate shaft with an updated part.Updated part number (per the TSB) is GM Part Number 26068295This is an old TSB - you will probably want to check with your local GM dealer to make sure this part number has not been superceeded.

2004 Pontiac Bonneville front passenger

drain tube stopped up.a small hose on the firewall between engine and passenger seat side of car under the hood. about an inch and a half long L shaped hose. it's hard to see but it's there. the end is shaped like a venus fly trap that's closed. just touch it with a long handled screwdriver and it will drain right out. just fixed mine a month ago.(it wouldn't hurt it to just snip off the end of it so it won't happen again)

The cooling fans on my 2004 Pontiac Bonneville

The PCM is controlling the fans. It is looking at the coolant temp sensor. Once it sees the coolant temp get around 225 degrees it starts turning on the fans. What temp does the vehicle get to? Have you compared the reading on the gauge to the actually reading that the PCM is seeing with a scan tool? Many times the vehicle temp will be fine but the gauge will be wrong. Sometimes the opposite. What engine do you have 3.8 or 4.6 liter? I’m happy to assist further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/jeremy_d728a59f986299fa

AC blows hot air on

Just did one of these, same problem. not enough freon. But I was told that this model had two blend doors on one rod. Which it did. But I was told that one door can come loose. So I disassembled the entire dash to find out it was low on freon. SO if I were you I would add or have some one add some freon first. Because the blend door problem is possible and it is an eight hour job. You can also purchase the door part. so it is a problem in these cars.

How to replace blower on a2004 bonneville

Pretty typical for our generation of Bonneville (mine's a 2005 GXP). There are at least two different fans for our generation of Bonneville.
Remove the panel under the passenger side dash; I recall two small screws.
There may be a couple wires to unplug from this panel.
The blower motor is located right above the passenger toes.
Unplug the three wire plug.
Remove a small rubber hose. It has one right angle bend. It's about the size and length of a big thumb.
Remove 3 small screws on the fan, and the fan comes out.
Here's my new one: zeevert_33.jpg The Hole under the passenger dash. Insert blower here: zeevert_34.jpg
