Not able to line up timing marks

did you check the distributor see if the distributor rotor is on the right point? check distributer cap, if the timing is off that means the points are not synchronizing the points are THE TIMING POINTS ARE 1-PULLEY 2-TIMING CHAIN 3-DISTRIBUTOR.

Sound when turning the wheels, only happens when the car is cold

This sounds as if the axle bearing is rusty or wear down. You might consider changing it. Don't waist time trying to figure it out why? things get old and needs to be change after time.

diaphragm in servo split ,is my first choice of answer ,block off servo pipe from manifold with a cork of something and try applying the brakes then ,if ok then you have the problem ,stop looking for fancy excuses and faults that do not exist .If in doubt ask local recomended mechanic .

Oil leak 1998 nissan sentra gxe 1.6l changed value cover gasket seams to be coming out behind alternator.or lower.

Look for oil pressure sending unit. sometimes located on the side of the engine nearest the firewall. real pain to get to.

It definitely has a converter 1st, 2nd- get a second opinion about that motor issue unless u get a good answer what the cause is. A bad motor will cause that but a million other things would also. A clogged converter would give u power loss also. Good Luck

Dashbord instrumentation Non functional for Japan imported FB14 Sentra

VOLTAGE REGULATOR Located behind the instrument cluster It is attached to the rear panel of the cluster. input from battery is 10Volts, it regulates down to 5Volts Any higher voltage inputed will overload the capacitors and resistors will burn, Also check power distribution center, under hood upper motor area in drivers corner, check all relays and fuses. Before you rip in to the dash check all ground wires, battery to ground, harness grounds, driver/passenger mid fram rail, Fuel sender is also ground to top of gas tank. IF ALL gauges do not work, that just leaves voltage regulator and/or cluster is malfunction,

you may find other cars from the same manufacturer will run the same wheels the idea here is to visit a tire retailer and he will have a book that will list all the wheels (rims ) that will exchange and then advise the correct tires to fit

most vehicles have a crank timing mark which sit on the crank pulley,its the big pulley at the bottom of the motor the cam pulley should also have a mark on the pulley if its belt driven that should line up with a notch on the head or tappet cover if its chain driven you will need to remove the tappet cover and your cam sprockets will have marks on them that must line up facing each other or facing level with the sides of the head
