Car is making a rattling noise when gaining speed.

The trans. will have a drain plug on the bottom of case and a fill plug about halfway up on one side of the case. Usually a large socket needed for this, like about 21 mm. You need to check the owner's manual or with Nissan to see what kind and amount of fluid to use, whether gear oil or what. If it's gear oil, you snip the top of the cap off and use a small hose (like a vacuum hose) over the cap. squeeze the bottle to dispense through the hose into the gearbox. If that is inconvenient or difficult, you might need a cheap hand held plunger type pump. You fill the box just until fluid starts to ooze out the fil hole. Then put the plug in and done.

Im having a clutch cable or something to do with the clutch sometimes being hard/grinding but i am getting plenty of pressure from the clutch pedal has anyone had any clutch cable issues.

If the clutch operation feels smooth and normal with the usual amount of travel and free play then it probably is ok and the fault is inside the clutch housing, with the clutch components. Difficult gear changes and gear crunching sometimes could be caused by dry and tight splines or grease/oil contamination of the friction material.

What is the valve setting on 1.6 ltr nissan enginevalve setting

Look on the exhaust manifold or on the exhaust pipe attached to it for the oxygen sensor that the computer uses to keep the air/fuel mixture at optimum. And then there will be an oxygen sensor in the exhaust pipe after the catalytic converter. This sensor is used to monitor the efficiency of the converter. The sensors will be the only thing in the exhaust that has an electrical connector.

Can I put a muffler system from a 1998 nissan 200 sx on a 1996 nissan sentra?

As a direct replacement, likely not, as these are very different models. The 1.6L engines are similar however, and muffles are the same. Look on rockauto.com for the part numbers.
