Sputtering, missing
Agree with Bill's analysis.
Also - fuel injector cleaner in the tank is a complete waste of time and 100% ineffective. There is only one way to clean an injector, and that requires removing the injector from the vehicle. There are no shortcuts.
How can I remove the fuel injectors?
- Disconnect the negative battery cable with a socket wrench and relieve the fuel system pressure. Disconnect the vacuum hose and remove the intake manifold collector from the fuel pressure regulator.
- Detach the fuel hoses from the fuel rail with a socket wrench and disconnect the fuel injector electrical connectors. Remove the fuel rail mounting bolts with a socket wrench so you can separate the fuel rail assembly from the intake manifold with the fuel injectors still attached.
- Push on the fuel injector tail piece to separate the injector from the rail. Discard the fuel injector O-rings.
- Lubricate the new O-rings with a small amount of clean engine oil and install the new fuel injector by reversing the removal procedure. Use a torque wrench to tighten the fuel rail mounting bolts in two stages. First, torque the bolts to between 84 and 96 inch pounds and then torque them to between 15 and 20 foot pounds
Can i replace a 96 sentra engine with a 96 nissan 200sx engine of the same year?
Possibly, if they are the same size (cid/litre). Most vehicles in the year would have the same sensors and such. The biggest problem with swap-outs may be things such as the oil pan and headers as they may be different because of body styling. You really can't change the engine size because the wiring harness and the PCM programming would not be correct for the new engine and reprogramming, while possible, is costly.

Check that switch which should be depressed by the brake pedal when it is up is adjusted properly and has not failed. This switch turns brake lights on EXCEPT when depressed by brake pedal.
