How to remove the engine in a 1991 nissian maxima 3.0
major mechanical job, best advice i can give is get a good workshop manual for your vehicle as this will explain step by step . It would take me ,and others , hours to type the info you need here, you will also need some specialist tools , engine hoist etc, good luck and keep me posted if you wish
1991 Nissan maxima hesitates
Best guess is O2 sensor is reading too much unburned fue in the exhaust for some reason and leaning out the fuel flow to compensate. Runs when you throw more throttle at it but leans out as you try to hold steady speed. Should throw a code though.
Wont turn over. no crank, starter clicks, no dead
this problem is caused by burnt battery contacts inside the starter solenoid that power the starter motor, either remove the starter and rebuild the solenoid or replace it or the whole starter, the starter solenoid is mounted directly to the starter. You can easily replace the contacts, they are avail on ebay for around $10
Remember ALWAYS disconnect the battery Negative cable befor u start work
NO START
Have someone in the car when you lock it from outside. The person that is inside needs to unlock the car for you. This deactivates the anti theft and it should start. Let me know if this works.

Go to AUTOZONE,get a bleeder kit,not much and it has instructions on it,easy to use.
