How do you remove the radio on a 2004 Monte Carlo SS
Begin sitting in the front passenger seat. Open the glove box. Find the
screw attached to the dash board (on the left). Remove that screw. Move to the drivers seat. Remove the narrow panel that holds the light bulb below the steering wheel. There are two plastic clips that hold that piece on the car. Removing that panel reveals a few Phillips head screws. Remove those screws. With the drivers door open, locate the fuse panel. Remove that panel. You will see a few screws there, remove the lower one (or two, I can't remember for sure). Next, tilt the steering wheel as low as you can get it. Slowly (using your hands only) pry the panel just above the steering wheel outward toward yourself. Slowly move toward the radio pulling the panel toward yourself. Once you have freed the large panel, fish your hand in behind it to disconnect the hazard button (This is a must!!!). Once that has been disconnected, pull up on the panel to move it past the steering wheel (it is a tight fit). Once that it done, there are two screws holding the radio in the dash. Remove those screws as well as the radio antennae plug and the two wiring clips in the rear of the radio.

Where do I put Power Steering Fluid in, 2004 Chevy Monte Carlo
it goes in the power steering pump reservoir. Look on the belt side of the engine, ps often rearward on passenger side, obscured from vision by engine parts. Need a flex funnel to add.
Why do you need to add fluid, does it leak?

how do i turn off my high beams on my 2004 monte carlo?
The daytime running lights are on whenever the key is on and they use the high beams at reducd voltage. Turn the lights on at night and the turnsignal stauk pushed to the speedometer is high and back towards the driver is low. turn the lights off and the highs come on at reducd voltage as the daytime running lights. It's law in most states and many countries to run with the lights on if the car is moving. Pushing down just one click on the parking break pedel should turn them off. the ambiant light senser can be bad or damaged and the high beams stay on the senser is i the center of the dash right up to the windsheild, If it detects darkness it should switch the lights to full power lowbeams. automatically. there is no turn off for the lights except to turn the key off. If they stay on with the key off and the light switch off then the headlight relay can be sticking and its in the underhood fuse relay center and it's location is marked on the lid and it's called the DRL relay their are other relays in the box so you can just substute a different one to see if that will fix it and if it does get a new relay. the lights should work normally if they are turned on and the high beams should be brighter.

what is code p0455 in a 2004 monte carlo
Hello,The problem is that the EVAP system is not able to achieve or maintain vacuum during the diagnostic testThe control module tests the evaporative emission (EVAP) system for a large leak. The control module monitors the fuel tank pressure (FTP) sensor signal to determine the EVAP system vacuum level. When the conditions for running the test are met, the control module commands the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve OPEN and the EVAP canister vent solenoid valve CLOSED . This allows engine vacuum to enter the EVAP system. At a calibrated time, or vacuum level, the control module commands the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve closed, sealing the system, and monitors the FTP sensor input in order to determine the EVAP system vacuum level. If the system is unable to achieve the calibrated vacuum level, or the vacuum level decreases too rapidly, the PCM will set the code you now have. So, you either have a stuck open purge valve, a stuck open vent valve, a false reading fuel tank pressure sensor, or a cracked/broken EVAP line.

reset security on 04 monte carlo
If you leave your key in the ON position for 15 minutes, the security system should relearn it and work once again. But the halo around the lock cylinder needs changing. You can purchase a kit from GM that includes the lock cylinder along with the halo. you do not need to replace everything, just the halo is what usually goes bad.
